| How To Convert A
PlayStation RGB SCART Cable For Use On A 9 Pin 1084s monitor As all Amiga (and ex-Amiga) owners know the 1084(s) is an excellent monitor and is well worth tracking down if you can find one used. Unfortunately not all the model revisions have a SCART/Euroconnector socket. If the version you own has only a 9 Pin D connection then this TXT file may be able to help. You will need: 1. One PlayStation RGB SCART cable (Interact sell one for 10 UKP) 2. One female 21 pin SCART connector 3. One male 9 pin D connector 4. Some 6 wire cable The following SCART pins are used by the PlayStation RGB cable: Pin 2 .......... Right audio out Pin 4 .......... Ground (audio) Pin 6 .......... Left audio out Pin 7 ......... Blue video out Pin 11 ......... Green video out Pin 15 ......... Red video out Pin 16 ......... Fast video blanking Pin 18 ......... Ground (fast video blanking) Pin 20 ......... Composite video out For our purposes we can ignore pins 2, 4 and 6.
The 9 pins on the 1084s D connection are:

Pin 9 .......... Vertical Sync
Simply make the connections as follows:
