in Development: Never before has any console had this many games currently in the design stage. Better still, the list below currently excludes any of the games that are still on the drawing boards of those developers located in the USA and Europe. The DVD and Musical capabilities of PS2, together with its massive storage capability will no doubt encourage the develpment of completely new types of games. We expect many interactive movie titles to appear, together with photorealistic sports and driving games. The initial cost of the system will no doubt encourage developers to produce games for the older gamesplayer at first, as it will be these more affluent people that will be immediately attracted to the console. Quite a few of the games listed below are 'simulation' biased, while adult rated titles such as TENCHU and RESIDENT EVIL (Biohahard), would also indicate this to be true. Younger gamers will be pleased to hear that new versions of TEKKEN, RIDGE RACER, BUST-a-GROOVE and COOL BOARDERS. We are currently compiling information on many of these games and will begin previewing them in the very near future.
