This
is a traditional platform game that follows the safe formula of running around
levels collecting power ups and items, killing baddies and performing tricky
jumps from platforms.
The characters look cute and simple with the
player controlling either Lay the bounty hunter or Cress the priestess, while
the enemies appear in the form of fluffy birds and appealing little animals.
Although
fundamentally set in 2D, the backgrounds are all true 3D but while colorful, are
a little ugly and empty. Most of the gameplay involves moving from one floating
splash of color to another while avoiding strange looking creatures.
