Previously
known as Winning Eleven, this was one of the first soccer games to hit the PSX.
The graphics utilize super smooth polygon players that move quite well and
display all of the fouling, taunting and play acting that comes with the modern
professional game.
The commentary that accompanies the game is average,
although to be fair, he only has the occasional star player to mention.
There
is only one Tournament mode to play but the game does include the usual two
player mode. The players are easy enough to control and it will not take you
long to have the ball firmly nestled in the back of the net, on a regular basis.
This
soccer game doesn't look too bad and the players react quite well during a
match. Unfortunately the gameplay is set so low that you will soon be notching
up cricket scores.
