In closing (phew!), what we have here is the current apex of
videogame RPG's. Final Fantasy VIII scores big time in all
departments; story, graphics, music and sounds and in overall
playing time. Spanning four discs, this is a massive RPG. You can
try and skate through it in 50 hours but can easily spend over a 100
hours playing if you decide to take on all of the side games,
collect all of the Cards and experience all there is to experience
from this game.
The story and gameplay suck you in and never lets go. You feel
somehow motivated to see what will happen next and you develop a
very real concern for many of the characters in the game.
Final Fantasy VIII is a testament to what can be accomplished in
RPG games and bodes well for things to come in the next gen
Playstation. You'll be thankful that you came along for the ride!
Final Fantasy VIII is arguably the best RPG ever created. It
contains an engrossing, adult oriented storyline full of twists and
turns and emotion. It also contains the best graphics available
today in a Playstation RPG game. The details of the towns are
amazing, the overworld is stunning and the amount of options
available to the gamer is almost overwhelming. The game is highly
addictive and VERY hard to put down!
Hell, I've said about all I can at this time…get the game and
enjoy it as much as I have. This one is a winner folks! " |
