between the ocean and the main gate of treno in the overworld. After a few
battles you'll run into a blue looking jelly-fish angel who will ask for
an ore. give it one and you will get 10+ ap for doing it.

MAZE:

When on disc 2. when your going to the Black Mage Village. This place is
like a maze so listen up! Once you enter the evil forest, read the sign.
It says owls or no owls. Go where there are no owls. Then you should come
right back into the same screen. Simply read the sign again and go where
there are no owls. Eventually youll end up in Black Mage Village. TIP#2
Make sure when your in this village to Synth Zidanes new weapon and stock
up on hi-potions!!

OMZA: FF IX'S OMEGA WEAPON:

you may need to complete some side quest first! you need access to
chocobo's air garden with a gold chocobo. go there and ride choco to the
back islet. when you examine the eidolon grave, mene warns you about
something dangerous there and you get a few chances to back out.so fight
it when your ready. you may need the ultima weapon and ragnarok. don't
forget to equip antibody and clear-headed and armor that protects shadow
magic. he has great items to steal and is weak against holy and wind.

LUIGI:

You see there was a stipulation in the contract when square made 
Super Mario RPG. It Stated that they were allowed to place on 
character from the Mario Brothers World in one of their 
games as long as they didn't advertise the fact. In this case Lugigi is
available as a playable character. There is a trick to get him. First you
have to have an evolved Chochobo that can cross the water and the
Mountains. When you place the Chocobo Hot and Cold game in the Chocobo
Lagoon you can find one of the chocograph Pieces. this piece tells you a
hint that states Go to the Outer Continent and Search on the Southeast
border and see what you find. You find a magic item there. Take this tiem
and it will be stored in your key items list Go to the synth shop in
Lindbalm and he will ask you if you have visited the region. Say yes and
look what i found. (that is one of your options) He will take that item
your ticket that vivi had at the beginning of the game and 44 ores to
synth the character of Luigi. He will Ask you a question to see if you
like pasta. ANSWER no because he states that he is glad because he is
tired of it. He will then Join your party. His weapons are the things that
Armant Throws in Battle.

GET MAD LEVELS AT BEGINNING DISC 2:

when in treno for the first time, get the reflect ring.  in addition, i forgot where, 
but synth a couple coral rings.  when you get to gilzamuke's grotto, and the moogle says 
"it's dangerous outside", go outside.  on the plains, you'll fight grand dragons.  they 
have only a few attacks:vemon breath, physical attack, and thundaga.  have a bunch of 
phoenix downs ready, because his hits will kill you.  set up as many people in your party 
with auto-reflect, and give the others the coral ring.  give them all antibody too, to 
prevent venom.  when he casts lightning at you, hopefully he'll hit someone with auto-reflect.  
13000 hit points later, all your guys get 8800 experience.  trust me, being at level 50 
instead of level 20 really helps out.

Secret Rare Card GHOST (act 4 memory caste):

I was walking around on the last part of the game when i came to a part of
the game that seemed kinda weird.  It was near an old clock that kinda
looked messed up or broken.  when you go up to the top right corner there
is a hidden save spot.  then when you climb the stairs turn right and keep
walking to a balcony type spot near the top of the clock.  Zidane will get
an ! above his head but when you hit X he just looks around.  This is the
Rare ghost of card collecting.  You can hit square and challenge him to a
card game even tho you can't see him!  he has extremely rare cards and
very powerful ones at that.  you can win alot off this ghost and a save
spot is 3 seconds away (hidden in corner, also can't see it).  i thought
this was interesting and would be very useful to those people who are
looking for a guy with awosome cards and want to take em.

part with Garnet, and Cloud, you will be Vivi 
go to the place where there is a big line of

and use auto control pressing [] and O and you won.
Keep doing this and the mother will give you some 
decent cards.

you go to madam sari the summener village and go to the house go to the
ketchen down to the room where that girl took the sand stone and one of
your characters (the little girl that can summen)and you see that girl
with a hammer which i think is a secret character too look in to it
please.

HADES:

when you are in the memory tower in the sea and you go to the top right
corner go through the tunnel and come out and go back in you will here a
strange voice say leave now say no and you will fight him equip your
characters with armor that protects aginst shadow magic and equip
abilities againt status effect. he will cast curse that hits you with
mini, confuse, darness, and mute also he will charge up for three turnes
when he does this he also uses dooms day which if your equiped what i told
you youll absorb it so go get him.

USE ATTACK COMMAND:

a tip to us the attack command while fighting
ozma in eidolon grave is to give all of the 
friendly animals what they want during the game.
(i have tried to defeat ozma while not using the
attack command and it is extremely hard. although
this tip is extremely confusing let me tell you 
this; there are a total of 8 friendly animals and
they all ask for an ore or 2 ore or even a 
diamond but you must find all of them. the last
one is the friendly yan and he will keep on 
running away unless you have found and treated 
all if the others.) P.S. the gimme cat by 
dugeureo is not one of the friendly animals 
although he does ask for a diamond. i think 
square just did this to trick us in to thinking 
that.

Dr. Tot's house and talk to the nobleman in the cloak.  He will offer

gladly accept and swim in your new found $15,000

go to Daguerreo and play everyone and get every SUMMEN card and the
flareX2(only the Flare)then go to AlexandrianCastle(whats left of it) and
try to get the guard to play a game of cards with you(you must have
defeated Hades got both of Steiners Excalibur 2&Ragonarok learn all there
moves)then go to the Lifa tree enter it then leave AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!go
to the ship and fly to Madain Sari talk to the closet moogle there and he
will give you all your peoples best weapons it will then power you up to
max stats! (this can only be done after you have beaten up OZMA)
the boss become very easyier.

HOW TO GET DAGGER'S HIDDEN SUMMON:

in battle when you choose summon for Dagger,
and you see that one empty spot, you think that there,
cause they messed up. Nope. There's a secret summon you
can get. It's Ark. (it's not the boss). You have to be 
on the 4th disk. When you go to Memoria, and when you 
get to the place where Quina tries to swim, you have 
to hook all the way around the coral, when when the
ominouse voice comes, make the desicion, and you can 
fight Hades. He's not all that strong, but he causes a 
bunch of status alignments. When this happens, use 
Skills and Magic. It's a cinch. After the battle, 
tell you, that if you give him 2 Pumice Pieces, that 
he'll synth them for you. Hopefully, you already have
one. Now, get out of Memoria. You have to have finished
almost all of the chocobo side quests, in order to 
fight the hardest boss in the game. After your
chocobo has learned the fly ability, give it a 
dead pepper, and fly all the way to a secret island in 
the northwest corner of the world. When you land, 
you'll enter chocobo paradise. Look through, and you'll
probably find the eidolon grave. The moogle will tell
you that something dangerous awaits. But who gives a 
crap! When you fighting the big huge ball (that's what
it really is), you could either steal a pumice piece 
(that's if you don't have one) or you could just kill
the guy, and you'll get another one. After you do 
this, go all the back to Memoria to where you fought 
and slaughtered Hades. Give the two pumice pieces to 
him, and he'll synth them for you. Give you a pumice.
Equip this as an add on, and there you have it, 
the very final summon Dagger has. Ark will cause Shadow
damage, (that's hard to find!)

play a jump-rope game to win a few gil and some rare cards.

20 jumps - 10 gil

1000 jumps - King of jump ropes (Key item)

Tip: Don' pay attention to the number of jumps or what the girl says.
Follow the jumps and press the button on the sound of vivi (or Eiko's)
feet hitting the ground.

suit. i think you can give that lady in alexandria 
that is making a dress for her daughter. ( you 
might've went there at the beginning with vivi 
when the lady was makin something) i'm not sure

HOW TO CONTROL THE FESTIVAL OF THE HUNT:

The festival of the hunt's pretty easy right? Just go around killing
monsters with Zidane. But what if your want Freya's Coral Ring, or
Vivi's Theater Ship Card? -Getting the Ring's pretty easy. Just sit
back, relax, and kill the 12 minutes. Freya will usually always win if
Zidane doesn't. -Getting the card is a little different. You have to
help Vivi. How? Eliminate the competition. Go to the Business
District, and wait. When there is 2:30 left on the clock, go to the
area right outside the Synthesis Shop. Freya will come to help you
fight the monster, and that is the key. Have Freya kill herself, then
have Zidane heal himself while letting the time run out. Note: Do not
kill monsters unless you have to. Tip: Save the game right before the
festival begins. That way, if it doesn't work, you can try it again.

HOW TO ATTACK ALL ENEMIES WITH MAGIC (WHIGHT MAGIC TOO):

when in battle, and you select a magic, let's say
thundaga, hit R1 or L1 and it will change from 
selecting one enemie to all of the enemies. With
white magic it's different. You could do all of
the cures, (cure cura curage) but some of them 
won't work. Float works too. It even works in the
menu screen too!

treno's auction.  there are two items you need to buy 1)une's mirror

and speak to the guy by the record player in the inn the record player
will react with the two items and the background music changes to that
of final fantasy vii

You Should equip armor or bracelets that absorb shadow
because Ozma's first attack is doomsday. Be sure your at level 80 or
more. THe characters that work best against this boss are Quina Zidane
Vivi And Garnet. Make sure Quina has Magic hammer you can really knock
off al lot of his magic points with it. If you use magic hammer 4
times or so his mp should be drained leaving him paralized

EASIER CHANCE OF WINNING FESTIVAL OF THE HUNT IN LINDBLUM:

during the hunt when you have about 2 or three 
minutes left go to the business district and head toward
the synth or where you went to got your weapons 
upgraded you should see a big pink monster and 
freya will fight it with you remember if you die 
you are out. now lets say freya is leading in 
points at the pink creature before you hit the 
creature kill freya after freya is killed kill the 
monster and freya will be out you will not get 
out if you kill her. do not do anything else but 
attack. magic and all that takes up two much time.
trust me attacking saves time.

After returning to Gaia from Terra, purchase the Doga's artifact and
Une's mirror from the auction in Treno. Go to Black Mage village and
speak to th black mage standing in front of the phonograph inside the
inn. this causes the music to change to ff3. tihs special music will

All you have to do is obtain a card called Namingway card, from mario
dueing the card tournament in Treno or inside Kuja's room during the
sequence in the Desert Palace. Take the card to Daguerreo and talk to
the man roaming the library on the mid level. He will ask to see the
card and then will be inspired to rename your characters for you.

this is the best way to beat ozma.
equip zidane with the ninja gear,
any other player with anything that absorbs shadow
have zidane, dagger, quina and steiner
have every level not divisable by 4, 5
even though physical attacks don't work, 
equip any ability that blocks any abnormal staus
have zidane use a dark matter, it will do 9999 
have steiner use shock, doing 9999 damage
have dagger heal
have quina use the magic hammer blue magic, 
that should do about  2000+mp reduce to him.
