GAME TIPS
----------------------------------

LOTS OF GIL:

First, you must have Clouds Apacolypse Sword, and
Cids Scimitar. You must also have The Highwind
in you possesion. Equip both of the weapons, and
each of the weapons, put every ALL MATERIA onto the
weapons. Fly the Highwind down to the small
continent where Mideel is or was. Fight the monsters
there. Or you could go up to the norther Crater,
and when you have to select the paths, choose left
and up. you will fight enemies called 'Magic Pots'
and Master Tonberry's. Steal elixers from the
Master Tonberry's, and when you fight the Magic
Pots, they are invinciple until you give them
an elixer. When you kill a single Magic Pot, you
will get 1000 AP! 2000AP for 2 magic pots, and so
on. So after you master about 20 ALL MATERIA, you
sell them for 14 million gil each, or, you could
equip them to other attack magic for some pretty
effect on the enemy.

COUNTER ALL:
To use this cheat you must have three things, one is you need to have a
weapon with at least two linked materia slots, secondly you need a
counter-attack materia, and thirdly a master summon materia.  First you put counter
in one of two linked slots, and second put master summon
in the other, go into a battle, and watch when the person with the materia
on gets hit, he/she will counter with all the summons in the game!

ULTIMATE:
This is the ultimate mataria combonation first
 you must have knights of the round the blue
 counter mime and hp absorb then hook up the
 counter and the mime together in one conected
 slot and kinghts of the round and hp absorb in
 another conected slot this way then cast kinghts
 of the round once and every time you get hit
youll do knights of the round and get you hp back
 (you only need enough mp to do knights of the
 round once)! note:works best if only the person
with this materia combo is on is alive

EASY RUBY DEFEAT:

Needs:W-Summon
     :KOTR mastered paired with HP Asorb
     :Mime equiped onto every allie
     :PHOENIX paired with Final Attack
How to defeat:
Run around on the World map until you enter battle,
now use the allie that has PHOENIX equiped on kill
your two other allies.Now fly the Highwind over the
red pole sticking out of the sand surounding the Gold
Saucer.Now you should be fighting RUBY,as theres one
allie alive he wont do the whirlsand.After those two
tusk come out of the ground use PHOENIX,
when all your allies are revied use KOTR
on RUBY{each time you use KOTR all of your
HP gets restored fully as you have HP
Asorb!}keep on miming KOTR until RUBY dies!
I did this without Cloud dying once and
killed RUBY on my first try!


GET THE BLACK, GOLD, RIVER, AND MOUNTAIN CHOCOBO:

MOUNTAIN AND RIVER CHOCOBO: First get a female and
male *great* Chocobo from the MIDELL AREA.Then get a
female and male *good* Chocobo from the GOLD SAUCER
AREA.Mate the (female good) and (male great) Chocobos giving
them a carob nut. Get Carob Nut from stealing from red dragons
around BONE VILLAGE or from 500 gp at gold saucer.Then
mate the (male good) and (female great) Chocobos giving
them another carob nut.You will have two new Chocobos.
Agreen and blue one.

BLACK CHOCOBO:First thing to do is wait for your new
Chocobos to mature.about(10-15 min.)Release the 4 yellow
Chocobos. Mate the blue and green Chocobo you have
using a Carob nut.You will have a black Chocobo that
can cross rivers and mountains.

GOLD CHOCOBO:Go to the ARCTIC PLAINS along the
western coast of the continet and catch a *wonderful*
Chocobo, oppisite gender of your black one.Feed the
wonderful Chocobo Tantan greens until it says "no improvment"
Race the wonderful Chocobo and Black Chocobo until they
get in the S class.Steal a Zeio Nut from the goblins in the
forest on the far North Eastern island (in the North Eastern
corner of the map) that is uninhabited.Mate the wonderful,
S class Chocobo and the Black, S class Chocobo giving them
a Zeio Nut.You will have a infamous gold Chocobo.

INCREASE ITEM LEVELS:
This is a code for Final Fantasy VII that I found.  After getting
W-Item (In Midigar Raid Disc #2 at the end of a long tunnel that head
south) equip it on someone, then in battle select W-Item and pick an item
you wish to duplicate, then use it on someone. Finally pick that same item
(or another one) and press O then X to cancel.
        You'll see that the first item you used goes up by one each time
you press O and then X.  Unfortunately this only works with items you can
use in battle.  So go out and get 99 Megalixers or whatever.

MORE MONEY TIPS:
Finaly I discover the best way to make
money.First buy two silkis greens from
the chocobo sage,then go to fight the
easiest enemy you can,(you need w-item)
make the item duplicate trick until you
have 99 silkis greens.Go to sell someone
the silkis greens and you will have:
247500gil!!!! make this many times and
you will be more rich than Bill Gates!!!

While in the Chocobos Race hold L1+L2+R1+R2 to go faster and win -

throughout the race you will keep your stamina high and go fast.

BREED CHOCOBOS:
to breed a mountain chocobo or the green one, simply breed
a good chocobo and a great chocobo and give them the carob nut.


THE 7777 TRICK:
First off you should only use this code if you have mastered the game
and are going back through the game to see what you missed because it
will ruin the game experience.
When one of your characters hit points comes close to equalling 7777,
use healing spells, or try equipping or unequipping materia orbs to
get the number right. If you go over you can let a monster attack you
to get the number back down.
When you get the number to 7777, enter a battle. The character will
automatically fight and cause 7777 points of damage with every hit,
and you won't be able to select any other commands.
The character will lose all but 1 hit point at the end of the battle,
so you'll have to heal them immeadiatly afterwards. This trick is
called "THE ALL 7 FEVER TRICK" and will work with any character.

777 TRICK WARNING:
The Lucky 7's trick (7777 HP)  does not work on the Ruby weapon- he
is impervious to damage until he sticks his claws into the ground.  It
does
work on the Emerald  Weapon, and takes off 500,000 HP.  (7DGKING)


SLOW DOWN THE SLOT:
While in a slot (Either Cait sith level 2 limit or the Golden Saucer
deul),
you can rapidly press the square button to slow down the slot. 
This make the choices much easier.

BEATING THE EMERALD WEAPON:
Emerald Weapon is fairly easy to beat compared to Ruby weapon. 
To beat Emerald weapon, you just need a two level or better Knights
of the round, three mimes, W-summon, mystile armor equipped, two
mastered HP pluses for everyone and two mastered Magic pluses for
everyone, and setting up all lucky  7's before you do battle is
good too. 

The all lucky 7's did not hit for the whole battle, but will for
about the first 3 minutes.  Final attack from the battle arena
or chocobo racing is good paired with revive or phoenix. Always
Customize your items so you'll have elixirs and megalixirs ready
or x-potions and turboethers if you don't like wasting elixirs. 

After the all lucky 7's, you should have already chosen the
Knights/Round twice and mimicked it twice.  With those magic pluses
equipped, hopefully your magic rating is close to 255.  You can see
this under status from your main menu. 

Now.... for Ruby weapon....
You should have the master summon, magic, and command from the man at
Kalm after trading in the earth harp won from emerald weapon. 
Hopefully, you were able to utilize the 50,000 AP from defeating
emerald weapon.  You need knights of the Round mastered paired with
final attack mastered.  You need another final attack mastered paired
with revive which has Life2.  You'll need two Magic pluses for Cloud,
one HP plus hopefully.   Master Summon is also needed. 

Shield can be useful in making Ruby weapon miss you.  HP/MP materia
is a must have so you can cast the Knights of the Round 8 times
for 9999 each hit.When fighting Ruby weapon wait till it leaves Cloud
left to fight.  As soon as its claws are buried, hit it with knights of
the round. 

I think if you choose to cast it before the claws are officially buried
and targeted, you can hit both the claws at once.

REACHING THE LIMIT:
First, enter a battle.  When one of  your characters limit bar is full,
perform the limit.  On the next two characters commands, choose Mime. 
These two characters cannot mime the limit!
  Once the commands appear for the character you originally did the limit
with choose Mime once again.  Now you can do a limit when the limit bar
isn't full!!!

NOTE: You must have Mime and two Master command Materias.

UNORTHODOX PARTY CURE HP CURE:
	Start by putting your battle mode on active.
Next,cast regen on your party and one other spell.After
your character casts regen ,open the playstation door.
You must open the door before the next spell is
cast.When the game attempts to load the next spell
the game will just hang there-but time will continue to
elapse.Sit back and watch your hp climb.When they
reach normal shut the playstation door.The music will slow
down for a second,then the game will catch up and
everything should return to normal.

DEFEAT THE RUBY WEAPON:
an incredibly easy way to defeat ruby weapon is to
use the w-summon materia use knights of the round and
hades summon materia with it.kill the two people who
dont have the w-summon materia equipped in a previous
batlle start by casting knights of the round and hades.
Hades will stop ruby weapon now just mime for the rest
of the battle. It helps also if you have a hp absorb
materia hooked up to knights of the round to stay cured
but you more than likely wont even be touched.

DEFEAT THE COSMO BOSS:
how to beat the cosmo canyom boss:
when you get to the boss inside the cave
at cosmo canyon to beat him all you do is use
a phoenix down on him to kill him instantlly.
Sometimes that misses so you might want
to use other healings items like x-potion,high
potion or potion.

To preform this trick all you have to do
is put 2 counter attack materia on one
person so when they get hit they will
counter attck 2 times.  It is reccemoded

just befor you strike the enemy about a split
secont befor you press circle or x and sometimes

THE KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND:
I have founed an easyer way to get knights of the round,
On disk 2 or 3 when you get the high wind go to the farm and
build up your chocobs to get the gold chocob then go to the
right hand top corner of your map and there it is. ( Use the gold chocob)

EMERALD WEAPON:
First of all, make sure you have atleast 2 mime materia.
Then you should check your levels, and make sure your
magic is high. Arm everyone with atleast 1 or 2 HP Plusses,
Because Emerald can really tear up your life. Have a 3 Star
Knights of the Round. If you don't, Get Cloud's "Apocalopse"
And Cid's "Scimitar" Weapon. Stick Knights in there and run
around
Mideel and after an 1 hour or 2 you should have a 3 star knights.
Give Cloud 2 MP Plusses, Knights, and Final Attack + Phoenix.
Give all the other character's a "mime" materia, and MP and HP
Plusses.
Make sure your life is at 9,999 and your MP is at 999 or else you
will be creamed. Emerald's Super Attack wastes, 9, 999 on all.
Arm Cloud with the Mystile, and give another person with mime the
aegis armlet. Enter a battle with Ruby. Attack FULL FORCE with
knights and mime all you can. It is also recommended that you
have W-Summon Equipped. Another Thing, have a Mastered Magic Plus on
Cloud. Once you get to cloud again, have another person give him a
Turbo ether or an Elixir. Cast Knights with cloud again, and if your
levels were somewhere around 75-85, Emerald would be dead. Otherwise,
keep miming until he dies. If he dies, Run over to Kalm and go into
the very North East house. Go upstairs, and talk to the man. He will take
the emerald you got from Emerald Weapon, and give you the master series!


RUBY WEAPON:
Ruby weapon is even stronger than emerald. Kill all of the other
people, except for cloud. Make sure you have a Mastered Knights, or a
master
summon.
Make sure cloud has a master Final Attack, and a mastered Revive. Put
in Master Summon, Final Attack and Revive equipped together. Also have
W-Summon, Magic
Plusses, HP Plusses, and MP Plusses. Arm cloud with Mime, too. Keep
Casting Knights, and
using Mime, until he dies.
Give the Kalm guy the Desert Rose and he'll give you a Gold Chocobo.

RUBY WEAPON WARNING:

Using Knights of the Round WILL CAUSE HIM TO COUNTER WITH ULTIMA. 
However,
by using a Hades summon, you can freeze him  and he is unable to counter.

KILLING ENEMIES THE EASY WAY:
Simply cast Berserk and Haste on the same party member. It also helps
if your Battle Speed is all the way on "Fast".

MAKING A DAMAGE MAGNET:
This is easy. Simply have 1 (or even 2!!) Mastered Counter Attacks, a
Mastered Magic Counter.
Arm one character with the counter attacks and put Magic Counter + (a
Mastered Comet). Its also fun to put
Comet + MP Absorb, since comet does 1000 - 2000 damage each, you will
gain around 140 MP BACK!! Also add a mastered
Cover to this combo, because, you will kill everyone almost. To make
it even more helpful, add a Counter + Mime (Or DeathBlow!).


Keep in mind that this entry uses the "American"
version's terms as opposed to the "Japanese" and "Japanese
import"
versions.

COMMENTS ON THE ABOVE CODES:
----------------------------

While the codes that have been before mentioned on your website
were informative, I feel I must add a few comments and extras to some of
them.

   Revive Aeries(Aerith).             GameShark code:    8009cbde  FF03
       While this code may seem to work, you have to keep in mind that
she is at the level you left her at and you have absolutely no control
over her, she is totally controlled by the computer.

   Ruby Weapon.            Knights of the Round
        While it may seem that this code should work, you have to take
into concideration that Knights Of The Round could cause Ruby Weapon
could retaliate with Ultima which can be devastating without the proper
defenses.

   Breeding blue/green/black/gold Chocobos
       It is usually a very time consuming process. Keep in mind that if
you are having trouble doing it normally you can increase your chances
of breeding a new Chocobo by increasing your rank at The Gold Saucer.

    The W-Item trick.
       While this trick may also seem like a very good trick you have to
keep in mind that this trick cannot be used until later on in the game.
Other than that it is a very useful trick.

    GameShark character replacement codes.
       This is a extended version of the "Aeries(Aerith)" code.
It is
extended to include all the normal characters and then some. However, as
in the other code, you cannot control the characters.

    The "7777" trick.
        This code may work good if you take out less than 7777, however
if you take out more normally you shouldn't worry yourself with it. It
may work good on Ruby Weapon, though.

    Emerald and the "7777" trick and Knights of the Round.
       The "7777" trick may work good if you have a low magic
power, but
if you have a high magic power it is better to use Knights of the Round
summon followed by mime after that.

    Ultimate weapon locations.
       Cloud's: As before mentioned, you must beat the "flying"
weapon
to find it. The "flying" weapon
(AKA Ultimate Weapon) can be found east of Junon hovering over a
cliff-surrounded lake. After you beat him once he will flee and you will
have to find him and fight again and again. Sooner or later he will give
up and with his last breath will cast Shadowflare(I suggest yo try to
learn it as a enemy skill) and he will then give you loads of
experience, AP, and gil, and, of course, Cloud's ultimate weapon,
Ultimate Weapon.

       Vincent's: You must keep in mind that you MUST go to Lucrecia's
cave at or before the second disk and talk to Lucrecia, then you must
return to her cave on the third disk.

    Chocobo energy regeneration.
       This is perhaps the most helpful trick to Chocobo racing and can
make a fairly weak Chocobo into a quick one indeed.

    The double-counter trick.
       I have never tried this trick before, however, if it works as
explained, it could prove to be a very useful trick indeed.

SECRET ITEMS:
- There is an armor called "Fourth Bracelet" in Rocket Town.  It
is in the
room next to the Weapon Shop.  It appears after Hojo is defeated.

- After defeating Hojo, almost all weapons (excluding: all ultimate
weapons,
Cid's Scimitar, and Cloud's Apocalypse) can be found in Upper Junon. (also
for easy exit, there is a marine in the street of the second
"town," talk to
him and you can get a ride out of Junon)

- There is another secret room in Lord Godo's mansion.  Go to the Guest
Room
and go to the wall on the left.  On the bottom left corner there is a
white
cloth, press "O" and you enter a hallway.  At the end of it is a
treasure
chest, which contains Yuffie's "Magic Shuriken."

DEFEATING THE EMERALD WEAPON EASILY:
- Equip: Quadra Magic-Gravity materia on a character, on same char. put
w-Magic materia on. also equip mime on everyone, barrier on a char. who
doesn't have the 4x-demi combo.
	- You should also equip Final Attack-Revive with mega-all orFinal
Attack-Phoenix combination, just in case Emerald kills you
- Cast reflect on your party

- Cast 4x-gravity on your party, using w-magic also

- This causes 3 people to attack 4x-gravity magic twice, each causing
9999 pts. of damage.  The total attack damage comes to 239,976 pts. (do
the
math, it's right)

- Mime this several times (he has about 500,000 HP, mathematically it
should
take about 3 hits to kill him)

- This one is optional:
	- You can finish him off using Knights of the Round

HOW TO BEAT 1ST BOSS:

when you get to the first boss, always use Cloud's bolt. For Barret, just
use his regular attack. When the boss raises his tail, don't attack
because he will counter attack with tail lazer. When he puts his tail
down, continue routine.

when you first go to the chocobo farm
there will be 1 certain chocobo next to
the house.

Talk to it (not waaaaark) and the chocobo's will perform a dance
and when they are through dancing it will
say you received a choco/mog summon materia
this will use a  move either called
deathblow or a move called fat chocobo
you will find out what a mog is later
on in the game

KEY TO SECTOR 5:
At some pont during Disc Two, a man will appear outside of Midgar.
Speak to him, and he'll mention he's lost his key. If you travel to bone
village,
you'll find the digging men there are still willing to disturb the turf at
your
bidding. Ask them to digging just at the front of the
 tent. If you pick the right spot- and itis, literally, rigt outside the
tent
 - you'll get a key that enables you to re-enter Midgar. You should use
this to
 return in order to pick up the Sneak Glove and Premium Heart for Tifa.

There is a really easy way to get GP. At the
entrance of the GOLD SAUCER there is a house
behind the ropeway. If you have a Gold Ticket
run in and out of the GOLD SAUCER until a man
apears at the back of the house. Go over and
talk to him and he will give 100GP for 10000Gil

GET A FREE ARMOR FROM A LITTLE BOY
Go to the house in midgar(disk 1) were a man is looking a the tv and on
the
2e floor of the house is a little boy sleeping.In his room is standing a
drawer,stand in front of it and press circle.Open the secret middle drawer
but don't get the money (5 gil) after the aeris is kidnaped go back to the
house and talk to the boy.He will give you a armor that he get from his
savings money.

STEAL TWICE IN ONE TURN:

     Equip steal(Yellow) and steal as well(Blue)
in linked slots.  When you enter a battle and choose
steal it will look like you steal once but you will
have twice the odds of stealing items.

Play as Clouds twins:

this cheat will only work on disc 2
you must have redXiii in your party. enter a battle and get cloud 
to almost die, now get redxiii to perform his 1st limit break on cloud to
finish him off. Now goto phs in the menu screen and you will see clouds
twins on the right side, swap both living members for cloud and cloud.
restore the real cloud to life and play the rest of the game with 3
clouds!!! fully tested by dean sadler

BEAT EMERALD WEAPON WITH LUCKY SEVEN'S TRICK:

Emerald Weapon's spell Aire Taim Storm (spelling?) is a mathmatical 
formula that takes 1,111 hit points for every materia you have 
equipped.  If you're desperate for the experience, you can equip two
HP-Plus materia to each of your characters so that they have 9,999 hit
points, (If they only need one HP-Plus to max their HP, I suggest you
equip Knights or any other low-level materia you want to level up).  Go
into battle with Emmy, and keep using Megalixers or whatever else to keep
your characters at full HP.  Once he casts Aire Taim Storm, it will knock
exactly 2,222 HP off each of your characters which, if they are maxed,
will put them at 7,777 HP.  Now that your characters are invincible, hit
Emmy with all you've got until he dies.  The only problem with beating him
this way is that you'll miss out on the 50,000 AP, which adds up to be a
whopping 150,000 AP on your triple growth weapons.

LIVE WHEN EMRALED WEPON USERS AIR TAM STORM:

When the Emaraled Wepon users air tam storm just before it hits press
L1,R1 and right on the D pad and it should miss you.

Beta enemy skill tip:

As soon as you get the tiny bronco go back to the marsh near the chocobo
farm and get at least 2 character equiped with enemy skill mataria.  Equip
these characters with whatever fire resistant accesories as possible and
have the other character heal them.  Go and fight the Midgar Zolem and hit
him with the most powerfull stuff you've got but don't kill him. The sense
command helps here so you can see how much HP he has got left.  When he is
nearly dead he will cast beta and the then you will learn it as an enemy
skill.  This will help you get through a lot of disc 2 especially in the
frozen mountains part as it is powerfull fire magic.

everyone revives with the Phoenix and Final Attack.6-10 uses will kill
it.Which you will go by quick because Big Guard's "Haste".Or use Knights
of the round to help out.When it uses AIRE TAM,it does 5000 or 6000 out of
9999.Use megalixirs when needed.You probably don't need underwater since
it will go by quick.

When you are in Cosmo Canyon, press start five times and talk to
Bugenhagen.  Then ask him about "Grandma" and hit Triangle and Circle. 
Bugenhagen will then take off his robe and dance and then join the group!

Sweeper. Once you have the super sweeper go to fort condor and speak with
the person at the table.They will offer to trade the super sweeper for the
flying tiny bronco.

Mega-elixir at Kalm and speacil battle at Battle Squre.:

In Kalm in one of the houses, their is a closet. when oyu open it, 
there is an item inside. i tried to get it but cloud could not reach it. I
thought it was there to frustrate players, but after 5 times of pressing O
button, cloud kicks the drawer and the mega-elixir drops.

At battle square, get 65,000 battle points, and the receptionist will ask
to participate in a speacial battle. the monsters are the same, but at a
higher level. the last monster is the Proud Clod. Defit him and you'll get
the final attack materia. It is easy to win the speacial battle. just use
the W-item trick with a hero, and keep feeding yourself one.

Easy Limits, Levels, and magic:

Ever have to spend forever trying to level your buds up? Well, whenever
you feel up to it, Stand in the marshfield with the Midgar Zolom. Have
your curso set at memory. You should also have a turbo controller, and set
circle on turbo. Pin it up so it will constantly hit(i.e. between 2 books
with a pencil holding down the button.). In any case, just have them stand
there and leave everything. Return in abouyt an hour, and heal them, up,
and repeat the process. If you boost everyone's hp to over 8500, you can
have them go while you sleep. I did it, and cloud went from blade beam to
meteor strike in less than a day.

FINDING WONDERFUL CHOCOBOS:

use the highwind to fly to the big island with bone village and fly around
until you see chocobo tracks then land the highwind on the small patch of
grass and walk on the chocobo tracks find a chocobo which is with rabbits
defeat rabbits and send chocobo back to stables (must be on disc 2 or 3
and have stables at choco farm)

UNLIMITED RIBBONS:

to get an unlimited ammount of ribbons just go to north crater and 
fight the master tonberrys, when they are at low hp morph them and 
they will become a ribbon.

OBTAINING THE CURSED RING:

in mideel, before it gets destroyed, walk around on the wooden walk
constanly hitting the circle button until you discover a key in the
floorboards. the key should be near the lower left portion of the mideel.
go to the shop that has the fake door in the back of it and try to open
it. then go back to the key and pick it up and return to the shop and try
to open it a second time with the key. the owner will laugh and say that
you can't open the door but will give you the cursed ring. breaking the
curse is another story...

THE EASIEST WAY TO BEAT RUBY WEAPON:

this is the absolute easiest way to beat ruby weapon. It took me only 15
minutes to beat her!!! What you need: Pheonix materia, hades materia,
mimes for everyone, and knights of Round materia. you will also need a few
megalixers. What to do: before battle, SAVE!! just before you save the
game, kill off everyone but Cloud .Go into battle, and wait for ruby to
put her hands into the ground. now cast pheonix, and all your members will
be healed (you might.have to heal your members if she hit you. [use
megalixer]) Now cast hades, and ruby will freeze. After that: sommon KoR
once, and have all three members miming it. You will have to hit her about
20 times, but that doesn't really matter, because she's frozen anyway.
After she dies, you'll get the desert rose!!  GOOD LUCK!!!

EASIEST WAY TO BEAT EMERALD (water) WEAPON:

Kill two characters in your party and leave only Cloud. Get 
Cloud on any health upwards of 5555, but it is important that 
you only use two Hp plus Materias. Equip a linked slot with
Knights of the Round + Hp Absorp lv3+. In another slot put Mime.
Now go into the battle and select Mime with K.O.T.R. Now, wait 
till the attack is finished and make sure that the cursor is 
still focused on mime, then wrap sticky tape around the the 
Circle Button. Now leave the room and come back in twenty 
minutes to see that you have killed Weapon!

If you want virtually unlimited money, here is a wonderful trick. As soon
as you have mastered an "All" mateira, remove it and replace it with the
new born one and sell the old one. This may seem like kind of a harsh
comprimise, but each mastered "All" is 1.4 million gils! And scince they
are so easy to master you will keep geting more and will never miss them.
Sell one or two and you will never run out of money ever again!

battletip : when attacked from behind by enemies ,and in order to limit
  the damage(which is greater when back-attacked)  , run as if you were
  trying to escape.
 this way, your person'll automatically turn around before the enemy
 attacks.


tactic-tip : try to avoid wasting MP's in battles, by attacking (with a
weapon)all the smaller and weaker creatures, then save materia for the
bigger and stronger.If you're only fighting enemies which aren't very
powerful, don't use your materia at all, because a regular attack is
almost as strong, and even if you get a little hurt by the enemies this
way, it's smarter to use mp's for the RESTORE materia.

EASIEST WAY TO BEAT RUBY WEAPON:

First you must have Mystile Aromor, Knights of the Round linked to a
mastered HP Absorb, W-Summon, Mime, enough HP and MP pluses to get HP to
9999 and MP up to at least 6000, and Sprint Shoes.  Before you fight Ruby,
get into a battle and kill your other 2 characters. YOU WON'T NEED THEM AT
ALL.  Now heal Cloud and save your game.  Begin the battle with Ruby. 
Since your other characters are dead, Ruby can't use whirlsand and will
put his arms in the ground for his first attack.  Now attack by using
W-Summon on Knights of the Round first targeting his arms, then his body. 
After that he will probably use Ultima. Now it is your turn again since
you have the sprint shoes equipped.  Just Mime your last attack and KOTR
will be used two more times and since you have a mastered HP turbo linked
to KOTR, you will gain 9999 HP after each time you use it, so you don't
have to worry about his Ultima attacks.  Just repeat this process and he
will be dead in no time. It only took me about 10-15 min.

All Lucky 7's Trick:

first, make sure everyone has over 8000hp.  go to the wutai area on the
beach. get into the battle and use demi3 on everyone until they have less
than 154hp. go on the highwind and equip the cat's bell accessory.  walk
until each character has exactly 154hp.  go back to the beach and battle. 
use demi2 on everyone once.  use 15 hi-potions and 2 potions each on
everyone outside of battle.  you should have 7777hp.

Easy mode to get  X-Potion and secret materia!:

Go to Junon Airport and get the big elevator and fight 
the enemies who there are (the missile launcher or the
soldiers with a sword). Beat'em and you receive one or 
many X-Potion! If you want, repeat the operation many 
times.

SECRET MATERIA:
Go in Mideel when it is destroyed.
Run to the guy followed by a little white Chocobo.
Press the action button to the Chocobo for give it 
a Samolen Greens and choose to tickle his ear. He 
give you a materia!!!
Go in to the menu and check the materia box. In the
last place of it, there is the "Contain" Materia. 
The first magic of it is Freeze, a stronger icest 
magic who if the enemy survive, he is immobilized!!!!!!!!

Here are some tips to help you on your way
 1. How to beat Ruby Weapon
    First,you will NEED the following materias
    Nights of round (only needs to be on 2 stars)
    Hades(only needs to be on 2 stars)
    Magic Plus (not mp plus)Preferably on MASTER level
    W summon   ( Win at battle arena)
    Mime
    You might want to take advantage of the 50000 AP given to you
    and get some other materias up to MASTER level,but you dont need
    to.
Okay start the fight with two people dead.That way weapon will dig its
claws into the ground right away.Imediatly, W summon Hades first then
Nights of round.Casting hades first will FREEZE him,and NOR will do the
rest.Mime the same action about 6 times and thats that,hes dead, and you
bearly get a scatch.

   2.Extra GP

On disc 3 when you first arrive at the Gold Saucer,about 1 in 10 times
there will be a man on the left hand side corner.Talk to him and extange
your gill for GP.It is 100 gill per GP and you can extange up to 10000
gill per time.

   3.Silver Chocobo
This is just a rumour,but ive heard that if you breed two S class
golden chocbos,you will get a silver chocobo.(but I cant see what the
difference is.)

BRING AERIS BACK:

First off, throughout the game. You must make sure you are nice to her,
however you cannot avoid Aeris' beating by cloud. Also there is no
medicene for the sick man, but get Aeris to tend to him by learning about
her heritage + returning to Midgar in the 1st cd. By doing this "general"
as people call him, will trust you and request you go and buy his dying
pal sumthing from the store. After that general will say thanks and if you
need anything, ask him. Now, when Aeris dies get the key ( from cd1 ) to
midgar and general will ask you where she is, tell him that she is dead by
sephirot and that there is no hope of reviving her. general says he should
be able to help. then go to the church. if you've been nice to her she
will tell you she wants to help you. then go to the general who will give
you a yellow materia. with this go to floating palace, go touch mr fish go
under water where you will see aerisorb/life essence. with this orb
bugenhagen could complete the life process.

BEATING SEPIROTH VERY EASILY:

make sure you have every one of your charachters ultimate weapons and
limit breaks. I would reccomend that cid be in your party, cuz his limit
break is pretty much the 2nd strongest. n-e ways, go to junon and get as
many x-potions has u can from the soldiers at the airport. u r 99.9%
gaurenteed to get one every time you fight one. if you get enough, you can
get rid of your cure spells that bring down your HP. or, if you don't want
to part with them, get some HP-plus materia. now, every time you get hit,
use an x-potion(I know it sounds crazy, but it's better than using up MP
on hundreds on cure spells.) now your MP can be used for better spells
that kill sepiroth(knights of the round) and you can cast reflect without
worry that your cure spells will bounce off you onto that ugly fagot
sepiroth(and jenova)

OCCASIONAL TRIPLE HIT:

to proform this trick you need a Pre-Emptive Attack materia,
Contain materia and Double Cut. link the Pre-Emptive materia with 
the contain and also equip Double Cut. this 
does not always work but when you enter a fight 
you'll sometimes find that the Pre-Emptive Attack materia kicks in.
this means that you'll aotomaically cast Contain on the enemy and 
then you can have another attack with Double cut.
(you can also exchange the Double cut for a Summon or Ultima materia. and
it is also really hany when trying to build up BP in the Battle arena.)

SOME LEVEL 4 LIMIT BREAK MANUALS:

Clouds:
to recieve Clouds 4 limit break manual simply get 32,000 BP in the 
Battle arena in Gold Saucer.
Tifa's: (You must have Tifa in your team for this.)
to do this, go back to Tifa's home town (Where you recieved the 
Odin summon.) Enter her house and run up stairs. there is a piano there.
go to it and press O. It will ask you wether you want to play it or not.
answer positively. on the next screen press "I don't remember.) it will
now come up with the notes. Get the controls for these notes: DO (The
first one not the second option) RE ME TI LA DO RE ME SO FAR DO RE DO.
(The theme tune to when your flying the Highwind.) write these down. go
into the piano again and this time on the second option say "I remember."
 play the tune again and then you'll have a small cut scene where Tifa
recieves her limit break. Barrets:
 You recieve it from a woman in a tent right at the top of North Corel.
Yuffies:
 you recieve it when you have beaten the five bosses in the temple in
Wutai with Yuffie. you'll also recieve the Leviathan summon. Vinces:(You
need Vince in you team for this.)
 do you remember where you first fought Ultimate weapon? (The flying one)
it was above a big crater with a lake in the bottom and a waterfall coming
out the side. get in your sub and make your way over there while ontop of
the water. When your as near as you can get, dive. find a tunnel and
follow it. you'll emerge in the little area of lake. make your way to the
side and get out. go into the waterfall. you'll have a little cutscene and
then zit you have his ultimate weapon and his limit break. (you need to
get there first in disk two then three or it won't work.)


KALM LOCKED CHEST:

in mideel at the back of the weapon shop there will be a door,hit circil
the door will be locked, exit weapon shop , go to the hut at the end of
the walk way turn too the person walk behind her you will hear a ting
sound when you walk up the side of the hut. hit circil u will pick up a
key. Leave mideel and go to kalm.In one house go up stairs there will be a
chest.

EASY CHOCOBO CATCHING (whithout Greens):

 All you have to do is have the Escape materia. MAke sure that you have
 the Escape Materia upgraded to the Remove option.
Then when you get in battles with any type of Chocobos just cast remove on
the enemys and they will all be sucked into the Black Hole thingy leaving
the Chocobo captured. Some people just push circle, circle, cirlce on the
Attack option,but if select Remove and then quickly push circle right
after your selection after you cast remove that quick push of the circle
button will attack the Chocobo and he'll escape. It's best just to select
remove and wait until the batteles over.

INFINITE ITEMS CODE (Major Note):

You guys already know the cheat, bravo.  (see cheat above).  However,
there is one parameter that is needed to use it.  It can only, only, only,
be used on that same item.  It will not work on two different items.  For
it to work, you need at least 2 of that item, one for the first use, and
the second to be as the use and cancel, use and cancel, and so forth.  If
you only have one of that item, for instance, I lost my one and only
hard-earned elixir when i first attempted it, that item will be lost.  for
those of you who don't want to go back up, the sequence is as follows: 1) 
equip someone with w-item 2)  enter a battle 3)  (making sure you have 2
of that item) use one of that item on anyone
    (even enemies)
4)  hit O to use the second of that item and then X to cancel.
5)  for those of you (like me) who couldn't figure out why it wouldn't
    work, now it should.  
I thought I would save some of you guys a lot of trouble and time.

8. Say yes to his question

The man will click his fingers and a Gold Chocobo will walk up the 
stairs, go and talk to it. 
And 'Bingo' you have a Gold Chocobo without having to go through the
whole breeding process.

BEAT JENOVA-DEATH EASILY:

First of all, you must use only 2 of your party members, so use Cloud and
Cid, but kill the 3rd party member. Next, equip Cloud with his Enhance
Sword, the Aurora Armlett, and Fire Ring. Equip him with these materia:
Enemy Skill, Lightening, Restore (Heal or Regen, whichever you prefer),
and HP Absorb linked with MP Absorb. For Cid, equip him with his Mop, Fire
Armlett, and Protect Vest. Equip him with these materia: Ice and
lightning. - When Jenova-Death attacks, Cloud and Cid should be able to
either absorb or miss everything she throws, except for silence. When I
did this, it took me probably about 5 minutes to defeat her. With this
method, there's no way you can lose because you can't die!

ever had problems gettin' Ominslash & w-summon meterea, 'eres a tip
to help
u need: knights of the round summon meterea & mime meterea
in your 1st battle use knights of the round, this will almost always kill
your opponent. next use mime it will use knights of the round again but
this time it won't use any m.p, this should almost always kill your
oponent again. keep using mime until u win, u should receive 3,000 to
10,000 bp. repeat this method & soon u will have enough,(it took us 3-4

In order to use this you must have the following, mastered or high level
cover materia, a hyper, and patience.  Equip the character you want to
raise their limit breaks with the cover materia and use the hyper on them,
this will set them in a state of fury and thier limit break will grow
faster  the cover materia will allow them to take more damage to fill up
their limit break.

her and she will ask a question awnser any way you like. then go to battle
arena.  fight all eight battles and win. talk to the woman and she will be
impressed and give you sprint shoes a a prize.

If you have Red XII's Cosmo Memory there is no sense in using it, 
equip him with his level three limits, they deal damage more times 
and the total damage they deal will probably deal more than Cosmo

The Materia In The Box At Wutai:
When you first get Yuffie go back to Wutai, she'll steal some/all (Can't
remember which.) of your materia, then you go to Wutai and you can now
have the ONLY opprotunity in the game to get the materia in the boxAnd
then you still have to find Yuffie but it isn't as hard as it seems, it's
hilarious too.Heh..

TO GET UNDERWATER MATERIA:

To get the Underwater Materia to stop the countdown 
when you fight the Emerald Weapon (disc 3) go to Junon
Harbour. Once there make your way down to the Under-
Water Reactor. On your way there, you will run through
an underwater tunnel with fishes swimming around 
outside. Make sure that one of your fighters has Morph
Materia equiped, and then run around there untill you 
fight an enemy that is a pirates ship with a skeleton
holding an oar. Nearly kill it, and then use Morph to 
change it into the "Guide Book". Now travel over to 
Kalm near Midgar, and go into the house on the far 
right. Go upstairs, and speak to the man. Agree to 
give him the Guide Book, and you will receive Under-
Water Materia! Then equip it and you will be able to 
fight the Emerald Weapon with no time limit!

HOW TO GET RED XIII'S BABY TO JOIN THE SQUAD:

first you need to have red XIII in your party when ever you can after you
get him. now on the third disk you go to cosmo canyon and talk to
bugenhagen before he dies and ask him about your farther he will tell you
that you are a farther and he will ask you will you take care of him.
bugenhagen will click his fingers and a small red XIII will join you
squad. he is the most powerful character on the game.

EASIEST WAY TO BEAT ULTIMATE WEAPON!!!!!!! (like it's that hard anyway):

On your first encounter with ultimate weapon, just cast knights of the
round even on it's first level. This should make him fly away and he'll
fly to cosmo canyon. IF you were injured from the fight you can go back to
your highwind and cure your guys. Once cured up, engage in the second
fight with ultimate weaon. IN the first fight, you should of did enough
damage to make him come to his final destination. Normally you would have
to fight him many times but anyways, on the second battle just cast
knights of the round again and he'll be done for. Note that you can now
get to the anciet fores without a gold chocobo by the crater he left in
the ground

FINAL THREE:

Jenova-Death, Bizzaro Seph, & Safe Seph:
Simply put the is by far the easiest to defeat the final three Bosses.
I've tried everyone elses but these seem to be the quickest.  The last
three battles took a total of 7 minutes.  First on Jenova-Death.
Omni-Slash. Second, Bizzaro-Sephrioth, use KOTR. Lastly on Safe Sephrioth,
The first thing to do with him is cast wall and regen on everyone. Then
have KOTR/W-Summon cast on him.  Waiting for Cloud's next turn, cast
Phoenix or Neo-Bahamut. Before anyone els gets a turn, Sephi should cast
the gastly Super-Nova And wallop everyones hit points down but don't worry
that is why you casted Regen on everyone. Once the Nova has come, Hit
Sephi with one Pandora's Box. (You can learn from Drac0-Zombie)  This
Pandora's Box is nasty and will finish him off Submitted and Really Fully

MONEY AND ITEMS:

To get unlimited items, equipt the W-Item materia and in battle (battle
oudside Midgar city as the enemys are weak) and select item on the party
member with the item materia and select a item, use it and select another
then press C, and you get on item that you selected, then press C,X to
gain more items. To get lots of money do that after buying two expensive
greens from the Chocobo Senshi, and make 99 of them, sell 97 of them and
repeat for lots of money.

BEAT FINAL BOSS SEPHRIHOTH:

at the start of the fight cast big guard and any other reflect or
minimum damage spells you might have make sure you have the final
attack on one of the party members linked up with revive or phoniex so
when you die you get revived and use k.o.t.r as many times as you can
and also don't use hades as he doesn't paralyz him use bahument zero
and phoniex and use clouds x4 slash and if he is level 64 or above he
will do 9999hp x4 after about half an hour to an hour he should die

MANY ELIXERS:

simply fly the higwind to one of the islands south of 
bone village.Equip one on your team with DEMI 3 and MORPH materia
enter battle with a"VLAAKORADOS"And cast DEMI 3 until you almost kill
it.now use MORPH and it will change into a elixir. Hope you make it.
If this was to much for you(HEHE weak dude)just fly to nothern crater
end enter battle with the "dark dragon" and after you kill it you will
get an elixir.(you may also steal it). Here comes more:Go to cosmo
canyon,go to starlet pub,go into the bedroom on second floor,go go to
the corner between the sofa and fridger and hit 0 and you will have an
elixir.

REVIVE AERIS (NO JOKE!!!!):

To revive Aeris, be nice to her throughout the game.
After you have beaten everybody(include emerald and ruby weapon),equip
clouds apocalypse sword. Put a master leveled Revive Materia in the
first apocalypes sword slot. Keep fighting Magic Pots and Movers until
the master leveled Revive Materia gets level up to the revive spell.
This should take from 800,000 to 1,500,000.You CANT use Gameshark.
After doing this, go back to Midgar.Have Cait Sith with you.Look
around Midgar until you meet up with some kids.Cait Sith will go with
them.Go to Aeris' house.Go to her bedroom and use 4 tissues. After the
talking, go to Aeris' church. Aeris' ghost will tell you to go to the
place in the ancient city where Bugenhagen took you. Pick up Cait Sith
and go there.Go into the place where Bugenhagen took you an press O at
the stone. Make sure your Revive materia with the revive spell is
equipped. There will be a FMV sequence.Cloud places the Revive materia
on the stone. Aeris' voice tells you to go to the church.Go there.Live
Aeris will be there.She will say,"Cloud, it is really me." Now you
have her back.

EASIER BATTLE ARENA:

make sure you have a lot of GP as it takes 10 GP per battle arena game
and before you start a battle arena game make sure you have lots of
status curing items and magic e.g. remedy, maiden's kiss, esuna. That
way when you get a handicap you can cure the handicap and still get
the same amount of battle points.

ENEMY SKILL TIP (BETA):

it is actually better to get beta later in the game because the later
you get it in the game the more HP it will take down in battles. this
sounds silly but it is true because i have done it different ways and
on my first game i got it on the third disk and it took down over 8000
every time i used it.

FREE DIG IN BONE VILLAGE:

this trick is simple you go to bone village at any time & select start
diggin any kind of treasure I don't care when you want to set a man
press the reguired button but when the 2 options come up (order a
search & done) select done then ignite the bomb as usual then select a
dig point & in the morning you should have an item. note this is a
good way to get the key to sector 5 I once got it in the 3rd disk on
the first try!!!

GO ON A DATE WITH SOMEONE OTHER THEN ARIES IN THE GOLDEN SAUCER! :

go with tifa: be extreamly mean to aries at any chance you get. when
you would go to the date with aries, you instead go with tifa. go with
barret: do the same thing exept be mean to tifa and aries and you will
go on a date with barret. i am not sre if you can go with any other
characters then yhat. try it!

INFINITE HP FOR ALL CHARECTER WITHOUT GAMESHARK:

first go to junon and after you get the phoenix materia pause the
game:NOTE(this can be done only on thanksgiving because the game has a
date modifier and it will operate differentely on thanksgiving)After
you pause the game go have your thanksgiving meal then by the time you
come back select the phoenix materia and put some gravy in the x
portion of your controller(in the outside of the x) and then eat the
gravy and after that press x,o,x,o,x,o,x,o,x,o,x,o,x,x,x,x and o. If
you did it right phoenix will revive all your party members without mp
and you should also have the BAHAMUT ZERO materia for this to work.
ThIS is really useful in the fight against the ruby and emerald
weapons and the all of the sephiroth forms. I have tested it myself
and it's silly but guess what it works!

ZACH RUMOR:

there is a way to get zach on your team i think, it's probably just a
rumor like a bunch of cheats are. all i remember about the cheat is
that you can find zach laying on the ground unconsious in midgar on
the first disk and if you talk to him he will join your team after
Aeris dies. (he takes aeris's place pretty much) But why would you
need Zach? He's probably the same as cloud?

When cloud must Cross dress to get into Don Corneo's mansion, after
you get the dress go to the gym and clalenge big Bro to a match of
Squats, If you win you'll get the blonde wig , if you lose you'll get
the messed up wig.THe better the item is the better chance you'll have
of the don choosing you for the night ( eeyuck )

GOLD TICKET:

Get A decent chocobo and pay into the gold saucer. Race it and choose
GP instead of item everytime you win until you have 300 GP. Then goto
the wonder square and to the girl in the pink and black and exchange
them for a Gold Ticket. Much cheaper!

MAKE EASY MONEY:

in final fantasy 7, on disc 3, don't head into the crater from the
balcony, go back to the cockpit and fly off(this is because you might
want to level up and do all the side-quests)to any place with strong
enemies, and master your blue 'all' materias, after you have about 5
or 6 mastered 'alls' take them too any shop and choose to sell, then
select materia and find your mastered 'all' materias and they shoul
sell for about 1,000,000 each, you can do this over and over as many
times you want since ever time you master a materia another one is put
into you inventory

THIS MIGHT HELP YA:

before you go down the pipe on the 2nd avalanche mission, go the
opposite way.  when ya find 2 red shinra guards, fight.  fight untill
either 1 of three happens, 1 zack comes out 2 they stop commin 3 you
get tired of it

if you find zack, he'll run, continue untill you reach kalm, he'll be
there.  and, join ya!!!!!!!  he supposidly can only equip the buster
sword (zack has really long hair, same clothes as cloud) if they stop
commin, this gets hard.  go find aeris as usual, but insted of goin to
her house, go to the pipe. she will ask you to help the sick guy, but
you cant(yet) sleep at her house, then when you go to wall market, go
straight to the restaurant, (the straw building) eat anything and say
it was alright now, youll get a coupon, go to thr store, (the building
with a little girl outside) enter and talk to the guy inside.  get the
disinfectant. talk to the guy in the pipe, go to the materia store,
not wall market sell all of your materia, talk to the guy in the pipe,
he will stand up, this is zack.  when you reach kalm, he'ww loin
ya!!!!!!!!      

(with all thm money ya made fighting shinra guards you should have
more than enough to buy more)

EZ:

experience in Midgar:
When you jump offa the second train into the train shaft, go left
instead of right to get in fights with shinra soldiers.  Equip Cloud
with ALL+LIGHTNING and it should kill the soldiers in one attack if
you need to heal yourself do so in battle because soon enough you will
have tons of experience and won't be hurt too bad.

GET AP  AND EXP FAST:

First go to the cave in which you fight sephiroth.  Then when the
group splits up have one person go right and the rest(including your
party) go left.  When you get to the next screen have your party plus
one person go up and the rest go down.  Run along the roots at the
bottom of the screen.  One enemy give you good AP and one give you
both great EXP and AP.  The movers(little red balls) give you 2400 AP
with clouds Apocalypse it turns into 7200 Ap!!!!  And everyone knows
about the magic pots that give you 8000 EXP and 1000 AP.  Also you can
transform the Master Tonberry into a ribbon but it requires a long
battle, unless you use Yuffie and her Conformer to morph because it
still take away plenty of damage.

THE LITTLE BOY IN MIDGAR:

when you are in midgar sector 5 go to the house to the south of the
entrance to where aeris' house is the little boy's house go there when
cloud is about to sneak out at night and go next to the boy.  Press
circle and he will say "top drawer bottom drawer they'll never find
it" then go to the dresser and press circle there will be a new option
to open the drawer between the drawers.  Don't take the little boys
money.  When you go back to sector six after the pillar fell go to the
boys house and talk to him he will give you a turbo ether(fully
restores magic of one ally)

EMERALD WEAPON:

When you fight the e-weapon when he does his big attack if you have 9
or more materia on (each character)have a weak character with 9999
life have only 3 materia equipped the big attack will only do 3333
damage causing lucky 7 for the weak character.when i get time i will

disk. Choose "New Game". Instead of the normal opening CG movie you will
