when the game first starts, before the puck is dropped, pause the game
and type     triangle, square, circle, circle square, x,
triangle.....if entered correctly a horn will sound.

GAME TIPS

CREATE:

when you create a player put a superstar name like "Pavel Bure or Peter
Forsberg" and you'll get all attributes from these players. 
You can then change it to your name.

SUPER PLAYERS:

Enter the create-a-player screen and enter the
 following names to unlock the corresponding players.
 Answer Yes to use your chosen player's ratings, then
 adjust them as needed. You can also use NHL Challenge
 bonus points to boost his attributes. Return to the 
previous screen and change his name to your choice,
but do not change any other settings.

calder  the game will say there is already a player with that name on the
database would you like to create player answer yes then assign him to his
team kyle calder to b-hawks other names are also on the database like
travis brigley ,rico fata ,lee sorochan calgary, brent johnson st.
louisetc.if you have aplayer missing that you've seen try the create
player i have a list of approx. 45

MORE GOALS:

when your in the offensive zone andwhat to get all you have to do is do a
wrap around a bit wide and shoot.{this may not work if difficulty is on
pro or allstar or if shotaim is on auto but just go to options and change
it to auto

CHALLENGE:

When in the season choose to do the nhl challenge. since level a is the
easiest to complete, complete it and upgrade your created player with the
given 10 points. save your season but not your userlog. exit the season
and re-enter. you can now do level a again as if it had never been done
and your player will still have his previous upgrade. do this as much as
you like to max out your player..

SCORING BETTER GOALS:

When the game is set on beginner and your team is trying to score on the
net at the top of the screen Press the deke button while skating across
the crease or as clost as possible the goalie will dive across and just
turn then you have a nice open net. This only works when your trying to
scoreon the top end of the ice and when the game is on beginner

ONE TIMERS:

use one-timers they are the easiest way to score but you have to be in
the other teams zone for them to work to execute a one timer justpass
the puck to your teammate and as the puck reaches him,press the shoot
button and you will shoot it as soon as you get it

UNLIMITED TIMEOUTS:

Press Start after a whistle, enter the strategies screen and select
"Timeout". Immediately press Triangle, enter the screen again, and
immediately press X. This can be repeated until your line is full. 


REGAIN HEALTH:

After a player is injured or suspended, allow the game to complete.
Select "Injury Report", then exit the screen. Keep entering and
exiting the "Injury Report" screen until your players have regained
their health.
