CHEAT CODES

EXTRA CHARACTERS:

To get these secret characters, you must beat the 
game a certain number of times.

Kuma		Complete Arcade mode once.
Julia		Complete Arcade mode with two characters.
Gun Jack 	Complete Arcade mode with three characters.
Mokujin		Complete Arcade mode with four characters.
Anna		Complete Arcade mode with five characters.
Bryan		Complete Arcade mode with six characters.
Heihachi	Complete Arcade mode with seven characters.
Ogre		Complete Arcade mode with eight characters.
True Ogre	Complete Arcade mode with nine characters.

Tiger:
To play as the Superfly Tiger, beat Arcade Mode 16 times. 
Then highlight Eddy and press Start. 

Gon:
To play as Gon, beat him in Tekken Ball mode.

Dr. Boskonovitch:
Finish the Tekken Force Mode 3 times to get 3 keys. 
When you get to the 5th level you'll fight Dr. Boskonovitch. 
When you beat him then you will be able to pick him.

Panda:
Highlight Kuma at the Character Select screen and press 
Circle or Triangle.

Tekken Ball and Theater Modes:
Beat all 10 main characters in Arcade Mode to get Tekken Ball 
mode and Tekken Theater mode

Alternate introductions:
Complete the game with the ten regular characters to see an 
alternate introduction featuring the characters in their two-player 
mode costumes. For another one, complete the game with all 
characters including the secret ones.

Alternate costumes:
Play as any character the indicated number of times. Then, highlight 
that fighter on the Character Select screen and press Start: 
Xiaoyu: 50 times
Jin: 50 times
Anna: 25 times
Gun Jack: 10 times

Replay Mode:
Go to Practice, then go to the Freestyle Menu. Press R1+R2+L1+L2+Circle 
for Recorder Mode (if you did it right, you should see a notice on the screen). 
This lets you save and replay moves in practice mode.


FASTEST WAY TO GET SECRET CHARACTERS:

OK, to get secret characters, go to OPTIONS and put in 1 game per 
opponent and whatever time limit you want, then go to arcade and 
beat the game with each person and each time you beat it with some 
one, you will get a secret character

To get GON character: 

in a very easy way, just play with any of the 10 main
 Caracters in Time Survival mode, after you defeat all the other characters,
 and when writing your name in the Records List at the end of the game
 ( Of course you are in position 1 because it's very easy ) type GON, and
 then GON is a selectable character.

GON:

The easiest way to beat Tekken Force Mode is to use the Gon character, 
just keep spinning ( the "0" button ) and you should beat it all 3 times 
easily.

QUICK WAY:

The easiest way to complete Tekken is to follow these steps:
1)Go to options,Controller Configeration and assign X & O to R1
2)Go out of Controller Config. and go into Options and select 1 round 
  and choose Character Re-select after continue screen
3)Use Law to complete the levels(just keep pressing R1)
4)When you reach true Ogre delibratly die and choose Eddy as your
  next character and use the following button sequence:-right and X,OOO,
  O,X,O,X,XXX this should (if you hit him all the time, that is!)take off 1/2
  his life.do this twice to kill him.
Repeat this as many times as it takes to get all the Secret Characters!

OLDIES:

To get any old character go to Jack 2
and press s,s,s,s,s,s,c,c,c,c,c,c,c,x,x
x,x,x,t,t,t,t,t,t, and then go to 2 
player game and fight anyone of your 
choice and win on a 3 matches game. If 
you do this correct you will beable to 
pick any old player that you want.

GAME TIPS

FORCE:

To beat the Tekken force mode use  
Panda and keep on bear hugging.
(Square and Triangle).
That way it is easy to win!!!

Tekken Ball Mode and GON:
After you get the arcade hidden characters you can
access Tekken Ball Mode. Your first opponent will be
GON. Beat him and you will be able to use him. 

Movie Mode
Beat the game with every character, (except Dr.B)
and you will get a movie mode. Now you can watch
every ending without fighting, and pop in your tekken
2 cd to see those movies too. 

Disco Inferno and Delinquent Students:
To get the School uniforms for Jin and Xao, just play
with them a lot. use them something like 10 times
each and you should be able to get their new
uniforms. I think it's the same with eddi's 70's
counterpart. 

The final hidden character; Dr. B:
To get Doctor Bostonivich you must beat tekken force
mode. Every time you beat it you will get a key. First
copper, then silver then gold. The next time you beat
the fourth level you will face Doctor B. Beat him to
add him to your list of fighters. 

Endings
Gun Jack, and Kuma have extendable endings. Beat
the game again to get them. 

Secret Characters:
Just beat the game in Arcade mode with any
character and receive a new character. 

Secret Fighters

Kuma
Complete the game in Arcade mode.

Julia
Complete Arcade mode twice.

Gun Jack
Complete Arcade mode three times.

Mokujin
Complete Arcade mode four times. Mokujin is a wooden man/woman who 
randomly
adopts the
fighting style and moves of other characters.

Anna
Complete Arcade mode five times.

Bryan
Complete Arcade mode six times.

Heihachi
Complete Arcade mode seven times.

Ogre
Complete Arcade mode eight times.

True Ogre
Complete Arcade mode nine times.

Panda
Highlight Kuma on the character select screen and press l or 5.

Tiger
Complete the game with all the main characters. Then highlight Eddy 
on the character select screen and press s.

Doctor B
Complete Tekken Force mode four times, then defeat Doctor Boskonovitch 
when he appears. You can then select him in Arcade mode. His secret 
underground cave stage will also be unlocked.

Gon
There are two ways of obtaining Gon. You can either complete 
Arcade mode using Doctor B, or you can defeat Gon in the secret 
Tekken Ball mode. To use Gon in Arcade mode, move the cursor
either left or right off the character select screen.

Secret Costumes

Some of the fighters have a third costume, selected 
by pressing Start to choose them on the character select 
screen. However, to unlock secret costumes for each character, 
you have to play them a certain number of times in Arcade 
mode (without pausing and choosing 'Reset'). The quickest
way is to set the timer to 20 seconds, battles to one round, 
and allow yourself to be defeated, then
choose not to continue.

Xiaoyu
To see her in school uniform, you have to play her 50 times in Arcade 
mode.

Jin
To make him don rugby-style top and stripy trousers (school uniform?), 
play
him 50 times in Arcade
mode.

Anna
She gets her high-fashion white outfit, complete with hat, after you've
played her 25 times in Arcade
mode.

Gun Jack
To see him in his earlier 'Jack-2' form, you only have to play him 10 
times
in Arcade mode.

HIDDEN STAGE:
If you want to access a hidden stage  which is high school place, 
get Jin's and Xaiou's school costume. 

Let Jin or Xaiou play as the challenger with their school costumes 
to be in this secret stage.

EASY WAY TO WIN:
The easiest way to beat tekken is to go in to options then button 
configuration and program in L1,L2,R1 and R2 as different combos 
such as X,O and grabs then just use these when playing.

BEST MOVES:

Xiaoyu is my fave character because she combines 
kawaii-gakusei look and fast combos. There are a couple 
of really good moves she has . . . that are not mentioned
in the "command menu". 

1: try pressing X+0 or S+T while your opponent's back is
turned to you.

2: try the afformentioned combo, but when you and your opp. are
back to back.

3: While back is to opponent, hit S,T,O,X to do a Mistrust combo

4: In Tekken Ball mode, loose on purpose and watch Xiaoyu kick her
feet and pout (esp. cute in the Gakusei outfit - play as her 50 times
 in arcade.)

5: In a normal fighting mode, after you defeat you enemy, watch both the
replay and the Victory stance scenes several time. Xiaoyu will eventually
add two more stances (but no more cute sounds ^^;;)

Note 1: With this code you get, All 22 characters, including Tiger. All
secret costumes (press "Start" to select them - the characters that have
them are Jin, Eddy, Law, Xiaoyu, Anna, and Gun Jack), Tekken Ball Mode,
Theater Mode with all endings, including Gun Jack's good ending. And uou
can save this stuff to Memory Card when the code is active, by the way.
Note 2: This code replaces your character's motion capture with another
character's. In other words, this allows you to use another character's
moves. This way, you can play, for example, Xiaoyu with Ogre's moves.
Replace the two "xx"s in the codes below with the number corresponding to
the character's moves you'd like to have. Both "xx"s must have the same
number in them. The list of numerals corresponding to the moves can be
found here. With this code active, every character you choose will play
like the character whose moves you've selected.This code has some
drawbacks. These are: 1.) If you Continue in Arcade Mode, your character
will revert back to his or her normal moves. As soon as you reach the next
stage, however, they will change back to what you've chosen via the code.
2.) If you play more than one match in VS Mode, your moves will revert
back to normal. To fix this, simply Soft Reset (Select+Start) after each
match you play in VS Mode, then go back into VS Mode. 3.) Sometimes you
cannot play against the character whose moves you're using. Example: If
you've selected Jin, and the code's given you Eddy's moves, if you fight
against Eddy the game may occasionally crash. Usually it doesn't, so you
can take the risk. Note 3: This code will allow you to play as the four
Force Mode enemies, Crow, Falcon, Hawk and Owl. One thing you MUST keep in
mind when using this code is that you must play one normal match in any
mode before selecting these characters. If you don't, the game will crash.
This code works for both 1P and 2P. Here's how to use it: In Arcade,
Practice, Time Attack and Survival Modes: 1.) Start a match in any mode
using any character EXCEPT one of the Force Mode enemies. 2.) Soft Reset
(Start+Select) 3.) At the character select screen, choose any character*.
As soon as you've chosen, press and hold Select until the matchup screen
appears. * Press Square to choose Crow, press X to choose Falcon, Press
Triangle to choose Hawk and press Select+Circle to choose Owl. In VS, Team
Battle and Tekken Ball Modes: 1.) Start a match in any mode using any
character EXCEPT one of the Force Mode enemies. 2.) Soft Reset
(Start+Select) 3.) At the character select screen, Press Select+Square to
choose Crow, Press Select+X to choose Falcon, Press Select+Triangle to
choose Hawk, Press Select+Circle to choose Owl. This code comes in three
sets. Input all three sets exactly as they appear here, with each in their
own code slot. Make sure all three sets are active when you use this code.
The Force Mode enemies' move set is somewhat pathetic. They can't jump,
can't duck, and can only dash, not walk. They have painfully few moves as
well, so I recommend replacing their moves with the code below, "Replace
Force Mode Enemies' Moves With Better Ones." If you do decide to keep the
Force Mode enemies' original moves, remember this astonishingly simple 75%
damage combo: Down-towards + RP , Down-towards + RP, Down-towards + RP.
Important Notes: Don't select "Command" from the Pause menu when playing
one of the Force Mode enemies. If you do, the game may crash. This code
does not work with Force Mode. If you enter Force Mode with this code
active the game will crash. Use the code below to play as Crow, Falcon,
Hawk and Owl in Force Mode. Play a Note 4: To use, enter Force Mode and
choose any character. Press Square to choose Crow, press X to choose
Falcon, press Triangle to choose Hawk, and press Select+Circle to choose
Owl. This code is for Player 1 only. Do not use this code with any mode
other than Force Mode. Note 5: The Force Mode enemies' moves are pretty
poor. With this code, you can replace them with those of any other
character. Replace both "xx"s with the same number. Pick them from this
list. This code has the same drawbacks as the Motion Capture Change code,
which you can read about above. Note 6: With this code active, you will
ALWAYS fight on the background you choose. Replace "xx" with the
background of your choice from this list. Note that this code will crash
Force Mode. Note 7: With this code active, the P2 pad will control the
opponent in 1P Arcade Mode! This can be a fun alternative to Versus Mode
with a friend... one person controls a single character, while the other
gets to control each opponent... all the way up to True Ogre! It's fun!
Note 8: With this code active, the 2P side character's back will always be
turned. It's fun to play the CPU this way - Watch them flail about and not
be able to hit you! Remember, however, if you sidestep around you can get
the CPU to face you, so watch out. This works in any mode, by the way. Try
it on an unsuspecting friend! Note 9: This code will remove the darkness
that covers BGs during True Ogre fights. Since there are now polygons
being used to display the BG, prepare for a tad more breakup, especially
during a True Ogre VS. True Ogre match. Note 10: This code makes the life
bars invisible, allowing for some interesting matches... you never know
when you're about to die! Note 11: You thought my RE2 Super Ridiculous
Codes were crazy? Ah, you have no idea of the mania that awaits you! With
this code active, simply start a match in any mode except Force Mode and
let the insanity begin! Note 12: Nope, I'm not telling you what this code
does. You'll have to see for yourself. Be sure to enter each set (there
are three) in its own code slot in the exact order they appear here, and
make sure all three are ON when you start the game. One mistake could
cause the whole code to not work, so be careful! Also, don't expect too
much with this code... it's just for fun. And don't worry, you should be
able to see what effect it has instantly! Note that you must have
everything unlocked to use this code. If you don't, nothing will happen.
Make sure you load a saved game with everything unlocked or have the
"Absolutely Everything Unlocked" code active at the same time. Note 13:Not
all Characters have a 3rd costume so if you activate the 3rd costume on a
character that doesn't have one then it will lock up the game. Note
14:This code will only work if Dr. Boskonovitch has NOT been enabled. Code
#38 can be saved to memory. If you are "unlocking everything" with code
#3, change the last two digits of line "3009-7EF2-001F" to "17". Code
"3009-7EF2-001F" can be made as a seperate code to enable the last
character whenever you want to use him. To play all 5 stages as Dr.
Boskonovitch, use with code #39. Note 15: With this code, it allows both
players to hit, make contact, with each other no matter where they are on
the screen.
