Version .8, 8/29/2000, All cards completed, thanks for the submissions. A
lamer has told me he was stealing info from my FAQ, if you find another FAQ
from Madden 2001 on cards please tell him to take it down. He was going to
upload it to gamefaqs. I thank for the submissions, I just think that my
hours of work are going down the drain to a lamer that knows how to copy and
paste. Thanks for the help.
Version .7, 8/20/2000, more cards updated along with great game
Version .6, 8/19/2000, many cards updated, along with some grammar stuff
Version .5, 8/18/2000, my first version of the FAQ

Within the future, I would like to add a few more things into my FAQ. I want
to put a Strategy guide in for each team, identify all the players on all
the All-Madden teams {maybe all the old teams, who knows}, and make up some
sweet plays for all of you to make yourselves.

{1.} Introduction

Madden 2001 for playstation is the best football game out for any system. It
has the best AI of any football game out, and it has Madden Cards, the best
innovation since Franchise mode. I give this game a 10 out of 10, and
recommended this game to anyone that owns a playstation. Everyone that plays
this will agree its better than Gameday 2001.

{2.} Modes
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

*2.1 - Situation Mode - Its late in the fourth quarter and your trailing by
four. See if you can pull off the win to keep your playoff hopes alive. Or
work your way through the 15 greatest games of all time. Each consecutive
win unlocks the next great game.

*2.11 - Great Games - Check Section 6

*2.2 - Franchise Mode - Manage your own NFL franchise for up to 30 seasons.
You are responsible for all aspects of the franchise. If you win, you will
make the big bucks. Lose and you will be lucky to get a job on another team.
You have to resign, improve, trade, and draft players in order to stay
competitive

*2.3 - Exhibition - A quick game, you choose the teams.

*2.4 - Tournament - You and up to seven of your friends can play a single or
double elimination tournament, bragging for the right to come out on top.

*2.5 - 2-Minute Drill - You get to control a team for two minutes and drive
80 yards to see if you could pull off the win. You get points for making
plays, runs get more points then passes, and you can always kick the field
goal. If you score you get to do it all over.
My highest score was 55,540.

*2.6 - Season - Pilot your favorite team through a 16 game schedule, trying
to get the Holy Grail, the Vince Lombardi Trophy

*2.7 - Practice - Improve your skill running plays against air or a defense
with no pressure, you can also create plays here.

*4.1 Explanation
***************
Madden Cards are the best thing about the game. Period. You need to perform
in-game feats, Madden Challenges. When you complete a challenge, you get a
number of tokens, depending on what level the feat is at. After you get at
least 40 tokens, you can buy a pack of cards. Each pack of cards contain 15
current players {Brett Favre}, hall of fame players {John Elway}, old teams
{85 Bears}, All-Madden Teams{89 All-Madden Team} made up stadiums {Rainbow},
cheats{big head}, or imaginary teams{Vipers}. Each current player card comes
in bronze, silver, or gold. Bronze increases the stats of the player for the
current game 3%, Silver 7%, and Gold 15%. Hall of fame players get added to
the free agent pool, and you can sign them on your favorite teams. Cheats
are only good for one game, but it can get the task you have been trying to
get. The old teams all always selectable, as also are the All-Maddens and
Imaginary teams. There are a total of 296 cards, all which benefit you. If
you print out the challenges, and cross them off when you complete them, it
makes them a little bit easier.
