Hello, This is a Walkthrough/FAQ for the game Valkyrie Profile by tri-Ace.
I used some Japanese Encoding, so If you want to view it you will need to get
a program like NJStar Communicator. And finally if you have
any questions, comments, or suggestion's then just contact me and I will get
back to you as quick as I can.

Story
-----
It is said that a Goddess will guide the Souls of the Dead to beyond
regions they never new existed...
Wars, Poverty, Disease...The Gods were always comparing what was left
of the Dark World. The Souls of the Dead would be stained by Vampires, the
Undead, Necromancers and a wonder of other wandering creatures...
Humans Wars, Murders, and Betrayal would all still occur after they were
"Dead". This sort of thing then started to happen inside the World of
the Gods(Valhalla), so they called apon Valkyrie to gather Spirits to
prevent this. However, Some of the people called apon could not accept
the truth of this...
Ragnarok...The End? The King of Gods Odin, controled the Earth Gods
World. One day, King Odin thought of something...The subject was the
"Yumil Neck" the world on which Ragnarok resides was getting close.
Normally, there would be a loud cheer when the Van Race gets ready to
enter battle. But with Ragnarok here there was much to fear, So the Goddess
Valkyrie was sent out, To find those who were equipped to do battle with
Ragnarok, The Lower World had many excellent Souls of those who died, but
could they be ordered to fight...

I will now go through all of the menu choices. When you select Skills
you will be taken to a screen like this:

This first screen you will end up on will be for your Skills. In order
to raise a Skill Level you need to have enough Capacity Points. You gain
Capacity Points by gaining a level. Just like in SO, the higher the skill
level, the more profecient you are at the skill. Now when you click set-up
you will come to a screen like this.

When you click Set-Up you will first be asked if you want to:
"Add or Remove?"
If you click Add,you will then be allowed to choose what slot, and then
add the skill. You can have two Reactions Skills, one Support Skill, and
one Battle Skill.
If you click Remove, you will have to then choose what skill you want
to remove. Then just click on it.
And Last here is the Human Characteristics Screen(Just a quick note
here, but Characters Like Valkyrie/Frei/Any Non-Human does not have these
options).

Now what this is all about is this, Your Characters have
Characterisitics that are both good and bad. And what you want to do is
lower the bad and increase the good. That way when you send a character to
fight, they will fight better. The Formula works out like this:
Rank x Value = Total
So when you have a Negative Characteristic you want to lower the total,
and with a Positive Characteristic you want to raise the total. You do this
by putting CP to each of the skills. Since enough people have asked me,
I have decided to put the Characteristics here. And Here they are:

Also you there is a screen that just lists Artifacts. Now just select an
item and you will then be taken to a screen where you choose who to use it
on.
Transform:This will allow you to change some items into different items.
Not all items work with this(But I do have a partial list near the bottom
of this FAQ). Anyways just select an item and it will tell you how much
MP you will need to tranform this item and then what the item will become
after. Then just select the quantity and just hit O.
Change to MP:When you select this, it is sort of like selling back your
equipment. You only get half of what you paid for, but it still more money.
Now onto Divine Items...

Divine Item is just like Shopping. But you use Materilize Points to pay
for you items. Each time you complete a Chapter, more items will be added
to the list. Also the better the item, the less you can carry. Just select
the item and then you will be taken to a screen ask you how many you want
to buy. Then just press O to confirm. And last you cant make items in a
Dungeon.

When you first bring up this screen you get the choice of either:
"Change or Remove?"
If you choose change, you first select a character and then move them to
the appropriate spot or change them with another character.
If you choose remove, just select a character and they have been taken
out of the party.
I'm not going to bother making up a screen for Experience chest because
it doesn't need one. Basically this is how it works. You get extra Exp.
for doing certain events or giving artifacts to Odin. You can then give
these Exp Points to characters. You do this by selecting a character and
the choosing the amount. It will also tell you at the bottom how many Exp.
Points you will need for you next level. Then just choose the amount and
select the far left answer when it comes up.
And as for practice...I haven't gotten this to work yet, so If someone
can tell me what it is I would appreciate it.

When you have a weapon that allows you to use all three techs you can
change the order of them by pressing the O button. You can also change the
Counterattack move too.
Now to the Equip Screen.

When you first bring up the screen you will get a series of choices.
First will be:
"Change, Remove or Strongest Equipment"
If you choose Change, you will then get to select the piece of equipment
that you want to change and what you want it to change to.
If you choose Remove, it will just remove the piece of equipment that
you selected.
If you choose Strongest Equipment, you will then have to make another
choice. It will be between:
"Strongest or Most Accurate"
So if you choose Strongest, you will get the strongest equipment no
matter what the accuraccy. If you choose Most Accurate you will get
the equipment with the highest Accurracy but, It may be weak.
Transfer:This is what you use when you want to send you characters to fight
for Odin. The only requirement is that they character have a Positive
Hero Possibility. Anyways once you send a character to Odin that
character will never come back. Also the game gives you two chances to
change your mind, before the character is sent.

I think that most of the status screen is self-explanitory, but I would
put this in anyway. Also I find they way that they show your attributes to
be very annoying. I don't know why they had to try and give it a "3-D"
look. It just makes it very difficult.

Saving/Load:
To save a game just be at a save spot or on the world map and select
save. Then just choose a spot and choose the right hand answer. To load
just do the samething, except you can load in Dungeons.
Sleeping:
You can sleep in the game when you are on the World Map. The longer you
sleep the greater the benifits.
1 Period=All Party Members recover to Max DME.
2 Periods=Same as above and will cure all Status Conditions except Dead.
3 Periods=Same as 2, but will cure the Dead.

*I will write this section once I fully understand the battle system.
The battle system Valkyrie Profile uses is one where it just takes
practice. But, Here are a few tips.
The most important thing is timing. You can tell when you did a good
job of timing because you will get more Mystic Gems/Treasure Chests/
Violet Flame Stones.

Valkyrie Profile uses a system of Chapters and Periods. Each event costs
1 or 2 periods. When you have used up all of the Periods in a Chapter, the
game will move on to the next chapter. You can accomplish all "major"
events in a chapter so don't worry that you will run out of time.

2.5)Endings
-----------
There are Three Endings that you can recieve in Valkyrie Profile. They
are A,B,and C(each one getting progressivly worse). Here are what the
requirments are:
Ending C
--------
Reduce your Estimated Worth to 0. When you have done that, head back to
the World Map and Frei will be waiting for you. This Ending is basically
Frei killing you.
Ending B
--------
To get this Ending, just play as you normally would. Just make sure that
your Estimated Worth doesn't reach 0 and you will be sure to get this
Ending.
Ending A
--------
There has been a lot of different information on how to get this one.
So here is what tri-Ace says you will need to do to get Ending A. [Thanks
to Steve Moon for finding this out.]
Meet with Bram.
Get Meltina in your Party.
Send Rucio up before the End of Chapter 6.
Have Valkyries Seal Rating be under 36, by the end of Chapter 6.
Continue to keep Valkyries Seal Rating low until the end of the game.
Now here is what you can do to affect Valkyrie's Seal Rating.
Not wearing your Nibelungen Ring. (-2)
Every Character that Valkyrie Gets. (-2)
Meeting with Rezard. (-10)
Meeting with Bram. (-10)
Meeting with Meltina. (-15)
Visiting Platina's Grave (-15)
Getting Rucio in your party. (-20)
Every Character that you send up (+12)
There is a scene that might take place between Chapters 6 and 7. If this
takes place you are going to get Ending A.

Info:She is the gatherer of the souls of those who've died on Earth and a
Goddess of the Earth God Race. She typically will hide her "War
Goddess" identity from Humans. As she gathers humans souls for the
afterlife, she also has to give them information (Their Memory, Their
Status). After a battle she will share some basic data, and then she
will materialize the Human Souls. On the lower world she must be aware
of those souls that have been stained, such as immortals, and then
either purify them or influence them, a very important job.

Info:In a cold village, high in the Mountains of Valnova a little girl
was born. The outside world had little contact with this village, for
the poor villagers have to work hard just to keep their kids alive.
While they are happy to have Boys, they are un-happy to have Girls,
as they look at them as a waste of food and as burden. In this setting
Girls, who were thought of as "Taking up Space", were sold to a
Slave Merchant for gold, and this little girl was no exception. The
merchant then continued on his journey, along the way there was a
young boy by the name of Rucio that night, and the little girl and him
played in the village together. But since the boy wasn't very strong
he could not put up much of a struggle. They both then went on
seperate paths. But on along the way that little girl died and the
curatin fell.

Info:On Slam Street in Chevron, Rucio lives with a group of other young
lads. They are a poverty stricken group that formed in order to
survive and have been raised by a Old Woman. Other people were under
the impression that they had there Childhood taken away from them.
And so, his only memories of his youth are him practicing with a
sword. He had known a thin, happy, and young girl named Platina who
had died from the flow of time. But after this, The War Goddess
Valkyrie saw this, so she loosened the requirements for the Gear of
Fate. However in the Valley of the Orchard she left somthing behind
of importance. And Rucio and Valkyrie both saw what they were looking
for. And so, Valkyrie and Rucio meet, but they did not know what they
felt.
The Decision of the Fate of the Goddess of Fate, is made by you the
Player.

Info:Meltina is a Researcher at the Flansburg Magic School and is a female.
She has immense pride, and is a perfectionist. As a Magic User she
has a really talent, so much so that it scares other people off. Her
skill is so high it said to have passed Principal Rolenta's ability.
Meltina has won many awards. But in reality she wants somthing else,
she wants to be the valedictorian for her gradiation class, And sense
the Cursed Rezard Valis has left she looks like she will get it.
Though she claims she doesn't have any info on Rezard she is always
wondering what he is studying. But she feels that she will take her
path and hopes that eventually Rezard will come back to her path.
But, will she be able to cast away her pride and give up her
certificate to do it.

Info:A Mercanary hired by the small country of Altoria. During a
particularly fierce battle his younger brother whom he had
raised and had gotten along with, was injured. After this they rarely
talk, and now he spend almost all of his time in battle.
As he has lost most of his family, he now gives one-word answers and
will never open up about the pain he feels, and he gets nervous
when being in a large group. However as a warrior his skill is beyond
a great swordsman, and on the battlefield he does not need to rely on
anyone else. But he is differnt from a Mercanary in one way, when
facing an enemy, or group of former friends he will show them his true
experince in killing. For a Sword can build a Relationship, and a
Sword can destroy that Relationship. From this you can see how he has
changed.

Info:An Alchemist and Necromancer that wears Straw Sandles, he is a very
friendly person. While he was enrolled in Flansburg Magic School his
talent began to blossom, Under the tutelage of Meltina and Principal
Rolenta. However as he reached his peak he began to start having
different ideas, and from this he was expelled. He began to start
having different thoughts on what justice was, for he had the soul
of a Necromancer and he did not wish to defile the school so he left,

As you start the game the camera will slowly travel down and you will
hear bells chiming. You will then see Valkyrie in a field, she comments
about how it certainly is Nice. You will then see leaves blowing around
as Valkyrie walks along a beaten path while the credits go by. Eventually
she will arrive at an Ancient Castle. Now walk forward and you will see a
woman at the enterence. When you get close enough she will speak. She will
welcome you to Valhalla. Here name is Phlia. She will say that She and her
sister Frei missed her alot. Valkyrie then says that it has been a long
time and asks if she doing well. Phlia will answer yes, then she says that
Odin wants her inside. Valkyrie will then go inside.
Valkyrie will say that she has arrivied and kneel. Frei will tell her
to stand up. She then warps down to Valkyrie and hugs her. Frei will talk
about how its been a while since they've seen each other and say that she
missed Valkyrie. Valkyrie says she also missed Frei. Odin then notes Rennas
Valkyrie as one of the 3 Goddess of Fate. He then continues by saying that
needs some help with the World of Destruction "Ragnarok". Valkyrie wonders
about Ragnarok. Odin then says that with the Van Race ready to make a move,
The Earth Gods are stuck in a fairly difficult situation. So he wants you
to goto the Lower World of Midguard and find Human Souls that can do fight
against them. Valkyrie says that sound like a very important job for
herself, but she will do it. Odin then continues that once it has arrived
certain destruction is inevitable. Frei will then agree. Then a light will
emit from Valkyrie and she will then be in different clothers. After that
Frei adds that she is going too. Frei then continues saying that it should
be a memoriable experience. After that Valkyrie and Frei warp out as the
camera rises to the sky.
The camera then fades in on Valkyrie and Frei on a Cliff. Valkyrie asks
if this is the world that humans inhabit. Frei answers yes, this is the
Midguard. And this is where their souls reside. Frei asks if she thinks
its nice. Valkyrie says she doesn't really have a sentimental feelings
about. It just looks like a bunch of land. Frei asks if that's so. Frei
then says that it's time for them to go. Valkyrie asks where to go now.
Frei asks Valkyrie about what she just said, and then wonders if she is
going to have to teach her. Frei then Warps and then Valkyrie follows. They
both then reappear on the world map. Frei asks Valkyrie what can't she
hear. Valkyrie says she can't hear anything. Frei tells her that
she needs to use her power. Frei then tells her to open her eyes,
concentrate her mind, and to empty her heart, and be very understanding.
The game will then tell you to press Start to listen to the Spirits, so
press Start. The world will then rotate around Valkyrie and she will hear
many different things and eventually tell you to goto Altoria. Valkyrie
is speechless after that. Frei asks if she heard that. Valkyrie will ask
what that was. Frei then tells Valkyrie that is her power. With it she
can listen to Humans Pain, Anger, and Wishes. And with that she can have
a good sense of the Soul. Frei continues by saying that Valkyrie must
get the Souls of dead human fighters. But Valkyrie is wondering how she is
going to choose who to take. Frei says that is a problem, so... Valkyrie
then inquires about the so. But Frei just says that they should start
moving, then says that they will need to have hearts that understand
humans. The both then warp out as the screen darkens. Then a message will
come up on the screen says "Heart of a Human...Do I even have a Heart?".

Aluze

The screen will the come back up and you will see a brown haired Knight
kill a gorilla with an Ax. Then more soilders will run by and a man with a
giant sword will walk onto the screen. Rofar will then tell Aluze to please
hurry up. The camera will then move to the right and you will see two
soldiers down and four more soldiers facing off against a flying creature.
Soldier A will say this is frightening. Aluze then walks on the screen and
Soldier B notices. Aluze will say it is just a bother. Now move Aluze to
the flying creature and just as you get there Rofar will walk up. Rofar will
say he is in this too. You will then enter battle. It is just a Lesser
Harpy, and this will probably be the first time you mess with the battle
system. Also the Lesser Harpy on Normal has Combo Guard, so your first few
attacks probably won't do anything, but all it takes is 3 rounds. The
screen will then switch to a new location.
You will see a simple house and a man paint. Aluze then walks in.
Roy will say that his brother startled him. Roy will then ask if Aluze
got injured. Aluze will say that he is fine. Aluze then walks over to where
his brother has been painting. Aluze asks if Roy has actually done
anything besides painting that cat. Roy will then say that painting is
doing something. Aluze asks how much the painting is worth. Roy says it
isn't worth anything. Aluze then says how worthless it was. Roy then
hesitintly asks his brother to quit fighting and killing. Aluze is taken
aback by the question and says that they would have no money and no food.
Aluze then walks off and tells him that he should get a new interest. Then
a flashback occurs. Aluze is sitting on the table and asks his brother
what he wants to eat. Roy will say that he isn't very hungry and for him
to go get somthing himself. Roy then continues by saying that he is going
to goto bed early so he can get up and finsh painting the cat. Then it
comes back and Roy aplogizes for asking his Brother why he fights. Aluze
then says that he will leave his gold here. Aluze then puts a Gold Statue
on the table. Roy will then ask what the statue is. Aluze says it supposed
to be lucky. He got it in battle by killing the strongest people. Aluze
then continues up to bed and the screen fades. Then you hear a clinking
noise.
An Elderly gentleman bends over to pick up a Scepter that fell on the
ground. Ronbelt will then tell the Princess that she needs to be more
careful with her stuff, saying that he has seen this staff cause some real
trouble. The Princess then shouts out Silence. Then adding that she is
going to go see the Wind Ghost Soldiers. Ronbelt then asks the princess
what she is doing, saying that all he wants is for her to trust him. Sherad
then thinks it over as Ronbelt hands back the scepter and leaves. Now the
screen show the King and many knights kneeling. The kings is talking about
how there are special breed of people. And about how it all comes from the
heart. The King then says it is time to bring in their strongest warrior,
Aluze. The screen then moves to where Aluze has been. Aluze then stands up.
The King then tells him to take his Money and Statue. Aluze then walks
forward to where the King and Sherad are. Aluze then thanks the king for
his kind words, and says he tries to keep his heart clear, but thanks
the King for everything. Aluze asks himself why he is taking this. Aluze
then thinks this has to be some kind of a fraud. Azule then starts laughing.
The crowd then quiets down. Aluze then tells the King how pathetic this
was. The King asks what he is talking about. Aluze then asks the King if
he didn't really think he would know about the statue. The King is
shocked. Then Aluze lifts his sword and Sherad tells her father to get
down, but Aluze was aiming at the Statue. Aluze then says that he has
no interst in that. Sherad the yells at Aluze telling him he has no right
to speak to her Father the King that way. Sherad then add that she hopes he
dies a thousand times. Aluze then starts to leave and the cowering King
gets up. Sherad yells for someone to stop him, but no one does.
You now see Sherad in her room. Sherad is wondering about the Commoner
Man and about how she can get rid of him in one poof. She then comes up
with an idea. You are now back in Aluze rooms and you can control him. Head
downstairs and to the door. You will then hear a knocking. A Girl will then
come in. Aluze will ask what she needs. The Girl will ask if he is Aluze.
He then says that he is. The Girl then introduces herself as Shera... Aluze
then wonders about the name. The Girl then says its Sara. The Girl then
says she is name Angela. Both are puzzled. Aluze then asks what she
came for. "Angela" says she has a job for him. Roy asks if his
brother isn't really going to take it. Aluze is really thinking. The scene
then fades to the Main Street of Altoria.
Aluze wants to know where he is going. "Angela" doesn't really know
where to go here. Aluze then just suggest they go in the Chinese Restaurant.
The Waitress then shows up and asks for there order. Aluze will think this
entire thing is weird. "Angela" then tells the waitress that she will have
this and this and this and this... The Waitress will say "Angela" certainly
does have a craving for food. And this and this... Aluze stands up and asks
if she is going to eat the entire restuarant. "Angela" says she certainly
couldn't eat all of the food in the restuarant. Aluze then gets frustrated
and sits back down. He then asks what the job is. "Angela" then asks if
they can talk about it after she's finshed eating. The screen will then
go black and tell you 30 Minutes Later... "Angela" will call for the
Cook. The Waitress will ask what she needs. "Angela" will just repeat that
she needs to see the Cook. Aluze will get frustrated and say she should
stop acting like a King. The Head Cook will then walk on screen and ask
what she wanted. "Angela" will say the food tastes like Shit and say that
the meat is still alive. The Cook will explain that is how it is supposed
to be. "Angela" will then start to complain about the soup. The Cook will
then again explain that is how it is supposed to be. "Angela" will then
asks if that is a chopped up monster, saying she doesn't want to eat a baby
Kraken. The Cook will then explain that its Squid. Anyways this keeps going
on and eventually "Angela" takes a drink of water and spits it out asking
what this is. Then she asks if they are trying to poison her. "Angela" then
says that she hopes the cook dies a thousand times, then falls down
asleep. Aluze wakes up and notes that she drank Sake. The screen then
changes to Aluze house.
Roy is asking if his brother is going to take the job. Aluze will say
yes. Then "Angela" will roll over and her hat will fall off. Aluze will
then be shocked noting that its Princess Sherad. Roy will tell his brother
he is going to bed. Aluze then says he will probably end up taking the job.
Aluze then tells his brother he hopes he feels better. Sherad will then
talk in her sleep and Aluze will wonder what she is saying. Eventually
Sherad tells her father that she will make sure Aluze dies a thousand
times. Aluze then sits on the bed and understands. The screen then fades
to the previous day as Aluze notes the reasons why Sherad wants revenge.
"Angela" will then wake up and wonder where she is. She will then asks
Aluze if he still wants the job. Aluze says he will. Sherad will walk out
of the room and Aluze will ponder the job.
The scene will change to that of a bar, and an Agent in a black coat
walks coat walks in. Badluck will notice this and the Agent will take a
drink and walk over to Badluck. Badluck will ask what they need to talk
about. The Agent won't say anything. Badluck asks why the Agent didn't
say anything. The Agents says they need to speak quickly and tells Badluck
about his partner. Badluck says he doesn't need a partner. Eventually
Badluck asks for 5000 extra. The Agent says its a deal. Badluck says that
was easy and then asks about his partner. The Agent will then leave.
Badluck will then say he doesn't care if he has a partner so long as he
gets paid. The screen will head back to Aluze house.
You can now freely walk around town. But all you really need to do is
just go in and out of your house. When you go back in Roy will tell you
that the woman is here. The Agent then says she needs to speak with Aluze.
Roy will ask if this is about the job and Aluze says it is. Roy then asks
if he took it. Anyways after a while you will end up outside and Badluck
will greet you. Badluck then introduces himself. The Agents says they
should stop talking and get going. Badluck agrees. Then the screen will go
black and Aluze will explain there travels. Eventually you will see Aluze
and Badluck travling on the road. Badluck says the only reason he took this
job is for the money, also the fact that Ronbelt wanted him to take it too.
Aluze will ask if its the same Altoria Minister Ronbelt. Badluck tells
Aluze to wait, and then he notes there are soldiers approaching. Aluze then
tells about the Knights and eventually one of the Knights will tell you to
Halt. One of the Knights runs up to the cart and Badluck tells him to wait.
Aluze then tells his thoughts and then tells Badluck to run. Badluck stops
and asks what that is. You will see Sherad as Aluze explains it is Sherad.
Now you will see Badluck and Aluze resting with Badluck explaining about
how they had to run all night. Badluck will tell about how Ronbelt betrayed
them. Aluze is about to slash at Badluck, but he tells Aluze that he was
betrayed too. Aluze will then ask about how he knew about the knights and
Ronbelt. Badluck explains that Ronbelt is actually a Valnova Spy. Aluze
can't believe it, but Badluck says its true. Ronbelt wanted to have the
Princess moved to Valnova so he could start a fight. You then hear Aluze
mull over his plan to kill Ronbelts and then you hear Sherad ask Aluze to
help her. The screen will be back to where it was before and you will hear
a man shout out. Aluze will grab his sword and Badluck will wonder what
that was. Badluck will then walk to the next screen and ask what that thing
is. You will then see a Red Beast with Two Knight dead, with one Knight
holding it off. That Knight will then ask for help. Aluze will ask that
Knight about Sherad. The Knight will explain that Ronbelt did somthing to
the Princess. Badluck asks if that is the Princess. Aluze will talk about
what Ronbelt has done to everyone. After that Badluck explains that is a
Ghoul Pounder. Aluze asks what a Ghoul Pounder is. Badluck explains that
it is a human changed into a monster and that only Necromancers can do it.
Aluze wonders if Ronbelt is a Necromancer. The screen will shift to the
beast and you will see 4 ghosts surround it. Aluze then thinks about
Angela. Badluck wonders why he is thinking about Sherad and then says this
is Altoria's Problem and then leaves.
After this Aluze explains he doesn't have the personality to run away.
So you then see him run towards the Ghoul Pounder, but when he gets there
Valkyrie and Frei warp in. Valkyrie quickly dispatches 2 of the Ghosts.
Aluze then tells you to leave, but then says it can't be. Valkyrie tells
the human to leave, that he can't fight and he should watch from the path.
Aluze wonders if this is the War Goddess Valkyrie. Anyways Aluze tells his
thought then and when he is done you enter battle with the Ghoul Pounder.
The Ghoul Pounder isn't hard either. Just takes about 5/6 rounds and
it's over. After the battle Aluze will be walking along the path and
discussing about how he thought he was strong, but then he realized he
was just warrior in a little Kingdom. After that you see Valkyrie take
the soul from Sherad's body. Then the scene shifts back to where Aluze
is challanging Ronbelt. Ronbelt will say he underestimated Aluze and then
takes his glasses off saying it won't happen again. Ronbelt then casts a
spell which surrounds Aluze in black. You then see Sherad begging Valkyrie
to help Aluze, which she eventually agrees to do. Ronbelt then says he
could survive the Ghoul by running, but he can't survive now. Then Voice
will say to stop hurting that man. Valkyrie then comes in and breaks the
spell. Ronbelt can't believe that. Then he thinks she just has the ability
to break dark spells. Valkyrie then asks why he was trying to corrupt Aluze
soul. After that a battle occurs.

Strategy:There isn't too much strategy you can do. Just attack and
eventually Ronbelt will go down. You shouldn't have to heal.
Otherwise this is a standard easy first battle.
After the battle four soldier will be trying to take down Aluze. Aluze
will ask himself why he wants to kill as he dispatches the four soldiers
with ease. Aluze then talk about how he is weak and he wants to die.
Valkyrie then appears and say that he doesn't have all power. Aluze will
say a Death God shouldn't talk like that. Then a voice will say to the
Commoner that the War Goddess isn't a Death God, and hopes that he dies
a thousand times. Sherad then appears. Aluze says he was wrong about
Valkyrie being a Death God. Valkyrie says she need Aluze to help stop the
Destruction. The Knight Captain comes in and asks Aluze to throw down his
sword, and Aluze does. But then Aluze takes a short sword and kills
himself. After that Sherad/Valkyrie/Aluze all talk. And after that you are
back on the world map.
Valkyrie will ask Frei whats wrong. Frei will say there is nothing wrong
and say next they have to do something. Valkyrie asks about what they are
doing next. Frei says she has to train her Heros so they won't "Die Again"
on the God World. After that Frei says to use her Soul Concentration again.
This time it will tell you to goto the Altoria Mountain Ruins. Valkyrie
says she knows where to go, and Frei tells her to go there. So head to
the Orange Dot and then press the O Button.

Mount Altoria Ruins
-------------------
Once you enter Vakyrie will jump off of the Ledge and say she feels
the enemies in here. Frei warps in and tells her she is right, there are
the Undead here. Frei then says she will give you some help here. Frei first
explains about Save Points, and that you should go. After that go save the
game and then head to the right. When you enter this screen Frei will say
this is battlefield and about how you fight enemies. Then Frei explain how
you swing your sword. Anyways first thing to do is head all the way to
the right and walk up the stairs. Then keep walking to the left and head
in the door way. When you enter this room Frei will explain that in order
open things you need to press Down and O Button. When you do that you will
find the Iron Lattice Key. Then head all the way back to the first floor
and then head the the first door you come to. If you go inside you should
find a Eye of Heaven. After you get that keep walking to the left and go
in the last door. When you enter Frei will tell you that you will need a
Key to get through the Iron Lattice. Since you already have the Key just
walk up to the door and it will open. Then Head downstairs.
When you first enter here Frei will explain about how to climb ladders.
Anyways just jump off the ledge and you should land at a jump you can't
make. Frei will then come out and explain how you work your Crystals. After
that just create a crystal and jump on out. After you Jump out Frei will
explain that you can also temporaily freeze enemies with the Crystals too.
Now head all the way to the right and you should find a room where you find
a Plant Seed. Then start heading down but keep going to the left. Frei will
then tell you about how certain Treasure Chests are trapped. Oh, one thing,
If you can do a good combo against the Monster underneath the two treasures
you can get a Fire-Lance Book(which is a good little spell for now).
Anyways only the left treasure is trapped, so open the right as normal(It
The Writing of the Immortal). Now open the Left Treasure and run, that way
you avoid the damage. Then head back up and grab the treasure(it's a Plant
Seed). Now head all the way down, and the goto the right. Keep walking and
you will reach a Giant Pillar. Frei will tell you to hit the crack. So have
Valkyrie swing at the crack about two times and the pillar will fall. After
that you will get 500 points of experience. Frei will then tell you how to
work the Experience chest. Now head back to the room where the Plant Seeds
were and you will now find that you can walk all the way to the right. Now
create a crystal path so you can get that treasure chest on the right, but
watch out, its trapped. Now your probably saying how do I get that chest on
the right, I can't jump. Well you can do this two way. What you need to
do is to make "Hard Crystal" by jumping on it. Then you move these on the
platform that had the Plant Seeds to the edge. With that you should be
able to make the Jump, or you can just the Treasure Cheast(I haven't tried
this, but I think it should work). Anyways if you can successfully do it,
you can get a Treasure Search. When you have the Treasure Search Equipped,
whenever you are in a room with treasure a blue orb will circle around
you.
Now head all the way to the bottom of this room and then head to the
left. Then head to the left again. You will be in a very tall room and what
you need to do is get to the top. Once you get to the top you will find a
Crystal, Baritone, Zebori and an Angel Cure. Then head all the way down
and this time goto the right. Now you will be in a room with many spikes.
Just kill the enemy on the platfrom and then just up and get that Treasure
Chest(It's an Element Scepter). Then keep going to the right. You will
eventually enter a room that have a Nightshade and a Fire Lance, Frei will
then tell you about how magic books work. Now head back to the room that
had the treasure search. The go downstairs.
Now walk to the right until you can climb the stairs. The on the (I
think it's the 3rd platform) goto the right. You will then be in a room
where you can find a Lapis Stone. The climb back up and you will reach a
save point. So Save the Game. The walk to the right again. Valkyrie then
says to Come Out. An Elder Vampire will then come out and claim Valkyrie is
a distraction. Valkyrie says she protects life, while the Vampires use
life. The Elder Vampire thought he could talk you out of fighting, but he
guesses he is wrong. Frei than warps in and says she is leaving, but she
gives Valkyrie a weapon. Frei then tells Valkyrie that the Weapon hits
3 times and hands over a Little Balshuu. You then get in a battle.

Strategy:When you start this battle Valkyrie will explain that Dragon
Servants have Combo Guard. Which will stop any combo. And the only
way to break it is to have the whole party attack. Anyways this
battle is pretty easy. Especially if you get a Clincher.
After the battle you will see two treasure chests on the ground. When
you open them you will find out they are the Houken Grim Gaudy and the
Sealed Gem. If this is your first time playing the game, then just takes
all artifacts. If you are playing to get the good ending, I would leave
both of these items. Also once you finsh this you will get 3000 bonus exp.
Anyways, Save and then head all the way back. Once you get to the first
save point Frei warps out. Frei and Valkyrie talk and pretty much all Frei
does is remind you of the things you learned. Then the game will explain
the Chapter/Period system. Then Frei says you need to hurry to stop
Ragnarok. Then she leaves a Fairy with you. The Fairy just tells you about
the battle system. Anyways just jump out the way you came in, and you will
then be in Chapter 1.

First thing You need to do is to use your Soul Concentration to find
out where to go. It will tell you to goto Lassen, so do it.

Belinas
-------
When you first enter the town you will see a Man and a Woman walking
down the street. The Woman will then walk over to the stream. Her name is
Asaka. Asaka then asks what the name of this ugly rock is. The Man(Belinas) will tell her to put that down and get going. Asaka will
will not say anything and then Belinas will come over and grab the rock.
Asaka will then tell Belinas to give her back the rock. When Belinas
doesn't answer Asaka says that buying and selling slaves is almost
in-human. Belinas talks about how it can't be helped and that they will
be better off. Asaka then just says that all she was trying to say is it
was wrong, especially to children. Then Asaka says that she isn't going
to go watch. Belinas then says that if Asaka has a problem with it she
doesn't have to come, but that is what this country does. Asaka will say
that was cruel, and then says that people only have one life to live.
Belinas will pause a second and then ask if Asaka wants her rock back.
She will then say yes. There will be another pause and Belinas will say
that this rock will bring good destiny. Asaka will ask what a destiny is.
Belinas will explain that is all decsisions by the Gods. The screen will
then go black and you will be in a flash back.
You will see Belinas with a Man and a Woman and with Asaka crying on
the floor. A Woman(Maria) will explain that they found a cute one, and they
are giving her as a gift. Belinas will then ask his father what he expects
them to do with this child. His father will tell him that he can give the
child some of the tasks that Maria does. His father then leaves. Belinas
will say to Maria how absurd this is. Maria will apoligize to the girl.
Then Belinas will ask what the childs name is. Maria will tell him that it
is Asaka. Belinas will question the name and Maria will say yes. Belinas
will snap his fingers and Asaka will then stop crying. Belinas will then
say it is nice to see her face. After that the scene will go to the cages.
Asaka will ask if it is today and Belinas will not answer.
Now you are back at the stream and Belinas tells Asaka to keep the rock
of destiny. Now Belinas will now talk "Destiny? With Maria dead why am I
talking about destiny. With Father and Many of my Friends killed in Battle
why am I talking about destiny." After that he continues on about how he
doesn't believe in destiny and then talks about how he meet Asaka. Now you
are at the Cages again and Asaka will try and get Belinas attention.
Belinas says there is no way he can do it. The scene will then shift to
Belinas house. Belinas will be sleeping in bed when all of a sudden a Ghost
appears. Belinas jumps out of bed as the ghost approaches him. But just
before the ghost can get to him Valkyrie warps in and takes out the Ghost.
Belinas will ask who you are, then pauses saying it can't be. Valkyrie will
then explain that the Undead Curse this house and particularly the girl.
Belinas will then thinks about Asaka and immediatly takes off to her room.
Valkyrie then warps out. You will then see an Elder Vampire over the
life-less body of Asaka. The Elder Vampire will say he did this all for
Veriza. The Elder Vampire warps out just as Belinas comes in. Belinas then
yells out Asaka and walks over to her. Valkyrie then warps in. Belinas then
asks Valkyrie to please help the girl. Valkyrie will then ask if Belinas
still doesn't believe in Destiny. Belinas will ask about this Destiny, then
wonders about how this can all be destiny. Anyways after a while Valkyrie
will explain that she can summon Asaka's soul back if Belinas gives his
Soul. Valkyrie then explains to him that it means dying. Belinas then says
he doesn't care. Valkyrie then hops up into the air, and flaps her wings
a couple of times and Belinas falls down. Valkyrie then heads to the floor
and grabs Belinas soul. Valkyrie will then warp out. After this a strange
light will surround Asaka's body. Now you will see Valkyrie in Belinas
room and eventually a message will come up that will tell you about
Magic God Veriza. Anyways you will find yourself on the World Map again
and it is time to use the Soul Concentration. And this time it will tell
you to goto the Soldi Cemetary.

Soldi Cementary
---------------
When you first enter head straight to the right and fall down the
whole in the ground. You should land on a top of a pile of skulls. And
there should be a bag near it. In that bag is the skill Attack Power. It's
really nice little skill to start pumping up right now. But Since I
generally Belinas up after the first chapter, I tend to spend his CP on
his Hero Possibility. Anyways after this head back up the pile of skulls
to the left. In this room take out all the enemies, then you will need to
crystalize the platform to the left. This will allow you to make a running
jump so that you can get the Short Bow. It is very important that you have
a bow for this boss battle. So once you grab that continue heading to the
left. Now first head past the ladder and go in the doorway. Now to your
left you will see a Gargoyle Statue in a Pentagram and to your right you
will see a Stone Monument. What you need to do is slash the Gargoyle then
move the Monument to the Pentagram. When you do this you will be rewarded
with 1000 Experience. Then go outside this room and climb the ladder. After
that just keep going to the left until you reach a new room. First keep
going until you reach the ladder. Then climb it and continue to the left
and you will find a chest that has the Avoid skill in it. Then head back
to the ladder and go through the doorway. And in this room just move the
Monument on the left into the Pentagram that is to the right and you gain
another 100 Exp. Then head out and slide underneath those rocks. Now you
will have to do the same Monument/Pentagram things and when you finsh
continue on to your right. In this room first you should head to the bottom
platfrom and open the chest and you will find a Fire Lance spell in it, but
watch out it is traped. Now you will need to climb that stair to the top
and push the Monument off the edge. Then just slash at the Gargoyle and you
will gain another 1000 Exp. Then just continue along the very top route and
head into the new room. In this room you can grab a Broad Sword and a Eye
of Heaven, but to get the Eye of Heaven you will need to attach a crystal
to the platform to allow you to make the jump. After that slash at the
Gargoyle and if everything works right then the door to the left should
open. If it doesn't it means you missed a Statue. Anyways once the door
opens you will gain 5000 Exp. Then continue on the room to the right.
Now head down to the bottom left and save. Then continue along the
bottom path and you will find a Treasure Chest, but you will need to watch
out as the Chest contains a trap. Once you open it you will get a Element
Scepter. Then go back and save again and take the high road this time. But
don't go in through the door yet. You first need to equip a bow on Valkyrie
if you haven't already and you will soon understand why. Once you have the
bow equipped on Valkyrie head through the door. When you walk in a Drow
Shaman will be there. Valkyrie will say the Shamam must be the one
harrasing the dead. The Shaman will talk about how it is fun, etc. Valkyrie
will then get mad and you will enter a battle.

Strategy:If you do not have a bow equipped on Valkyrie when you start this
battle one of your characters will die. What you have to do is on
the first round have Valkyrie use her bow to take out one of the
Shamans in the back row. If you don't they will both use Fire
Lance on the same character, and that character will die. After
both of the Shaman are gone, then just use the standard battle
plan and try and get a Clincher.
After the battle is over you will find a horde of treasure for your
taking. You will find a Book on Making Damsacus(Send up), the Crown of
Thelma(Keep), and the Grey Blue Scarf(Keep) and then a message will tell
you that you gained 10000 Exp. But, don't leave yet. There are two more
chests you can get. Use your crystal on the right wall and go up to the
top. You will then find a book for the spell Cool Dazzel(Very Nice) and
a book for the skill Magic Power(also very nice). Anyways after that is
all done use the stairs to the left to leave. Once you are on the World
Map use your Soul Concentration. This time it will tell you to goto
Clairmonferan.

Rourry
------
The scene will open up with many people attending a funeral. An
admistrator will be asking for the War Goddess to take this heroes soul.
And that she should please come. The the camera will move up and you will
see doves flying above a massive castle. The scene will then move on and
you will see a young woman in a forest. Then a man will run up. Rourry
will apoligze to Miria and will note that she waited. Miria will say that
she did because she wanted to see you. You will then hear the leaves rustle
and Miria will comment about the music that the trees make. Miria will then
ask Rourry what he thinks about the music. Rourry will then look up to the
sky and say that it sure makes him feel better and that it reminds him of
the sound the ocean makes. Miria will then ask Rourry why he wanted to meet
her here. Rourry will asks what's wrong. Miria says that she has a feeling
Rourry is going to goto Sea or become a Soldier and fight in a War. Rourry
will ask how she knows. Miria say she just knows and that her Mother told
her to forget all about Rourry. Rourry says that it is probably the best
thing to do. Miria says he shouldn't say that. Miria then says she has a
feeling that Rourry will come back, once more. Rourry will be presently
supprised at this. Rourry then hugs Miria and tells her that he won't die.
Miria then returns the hug. The screen will then go black and a message
will tell you that Rourry did die in battle.
When the scene comes back up you will see Miria in a Chair. Rourry will
be thinking about how cruel it was to say that and that he was wrong to go
off to battle. The screen will the go back to the forest and you will see
Miria talk about how she will one day speak to Rourry again. The leaves will
rustle in the forest once again. Miria will say how cruel that is and ask
the noise to stop. The trees will then rustle again. Miria will this time
beg whoever is doing this to stop. She then says she can't even look to the
sky knowing Rourry is dead. The screen will go black.
Valkyrie will then appear on the screen. She asks Rourry if he really
wants to do this. Rourry will explain that is what he said. Valkyrie will
say that you humans think one thing and do another. Rourry will question
this. Valkyrie talks about how even though the strong feel strong, and the
weak feel Weak, they all in the end have the same Heart. Valkyrie then asks
if he understands and then asks him about the Woman. Valkyrie asks Rourry
if he wants to stop the never ending pain of the Woman. Rourry then says
he wouldn't know what to say. The screen the fades back into the forest.
You then see Rourry run towards Miria as she gets up and shouts out his
name. Rourry then hugs her and Miria then hugs him. Rourry then apoligizes
for not being able to see her. The screen then goes blank and Valkryie
will comment about how she is slowly turning into an Angel...
Anyways use your Soul Concentration again and this time it will tell
you to goto the Forgotten Caves.

Forgotten Caves
---------------
*I don't really understand the way this cave works. In order to get the
treasure I think you need to run as fast as you can to the room with the
treasures in it, but if someone knows please tell me.
Before you do the Forgotten Caves I recommend that you goto the Cursed
Woods first. The enemies in here are just too strong. You will also need
the Dragon Slayer(see the section at the bottom of this chapter). After
that you will probably have to try a couple of times for the Treasure
Chests to appear. You need these Treasure Chests because you need the
Naken "Ruin's Fate". So what you need to do is crystalize all the enemies
and just run to the right as fast as you can. If you do it right you will
be able to pick up the Naken "Ruin's Fate". Now that you have it,
crystalize your way up the right side of that wall and then jump over
that monster. If you made it in time you will be able to gain two
additional treasures. Now you can go back and start killing the monsters.
But, You have to do it in a ceratin order. The first one you will want to
kill is the Dragon Zombie. Just use the Dragon Slayer and it will be dead
(otherwise, it will kill you). Now just walk left and fall down to where
you got the Ruin's Fate. By the way save often when you use the Ruin's
Fate(It has a 5% chance of breaking). Anyways jump back up to the left
and kill the monster on the ground. It should be a crab like monster. Now
it's time to kill the flying monster. Then keep going back to the left
and kill both of those monsters. Then you can take on the flying monster
near the Dragon Zombie. You will probably not be able to accomplish this
all in one turn, but you should try and do it since it makes you a lot
stronger. Also don't be supprised if Valkyrie is the only one to live. It
happened to me alot.

Cursed Woods
------------
On the first screen head to the left and open up the chest(it contains
a Eye of Heaven). Now start to head to the right. Keeping going to the
right on the next screen and you will eventually find a Icicle Edge Spell
Book. On that same screen take the path that leads up. Then head up again.
After that start heading all the way to the left. At the very end you will
find a path that leads up. So take that and in the next screen walk to the
right and you will find a two chests that contain Element Scepter(both of
them are trapped so be careful). After that head down twice to that long
corrider. Now head to the right and take the first path that leads up. You
can then find a Lapis. Head back down and continue to the right. Then take
the path the next path you see that leads up. In this room you can find
a Flare Crystal. Then continue up again. Save the Game at the save point
and get ready for a battle.
Valkyrie will walk on the screen and you will see a Gorilla attacking
a mans soul. Valkyrie will talk about how she can't allow this.

Strategy:I have Sherad switch to Burn Storm for this battle, since it is as
easier spell to max out your gauge with. Once you can use your
Clinchers this battle will be over in no time. Also if you can
get Sheard to use Ifrit Incense this battle is over.
After the battle Valkyrie will walk over and put a rest to all this. Now
you can grab the two chests that are there. Once will contain the Extreme
Guard(Take) and the other will contain the Phoenix Feather(Take). After it
is all over you will get 7000 Exp and you can leave.

Extras
------
These are optional events you can do. You don't have to do them, but
they will generally add more to the story/make you stronger/get you a
better ending.
Dragon Slayer-
This is a very nice weapon. It will kill all Dragons in 1 hit. You
can find it by going to Aluze's house in Altoria. Just walk up to his
bedroom and then Aluze will come out and grab the weapon.
Graveyard Scene-
Head to the Graveyard, It is the highest dot that isn't Orange. When you
enter Valkyrie will wonder what this place is. She says she can sense a
human spirit. Valkyrie will then walk over to the left and then become
suprised. She rushs over and you then see two ghosts by the Grave. Valkyrie
will ask what they are doing here. She slashes at them once. Valkyrie then
looks around and will talk about how the ran away. Valkryie then wonders
why the Undead would want to haunt this rock. Valkryie notices that its
a Tombstone. After that you can leave.
War Goddess Pendant-
If you head to Clairmonferan and walk all the way to the right you will
enter a little forest. Rourry will the come out and say that you might
possibly be able to use this. He then hands you the War Goddess Pendant. It
reduces Dark Damage by 50%.
Now I just slept for the other periods that I have left. So you should
probably do the same. Once you reach 24/24 a message will say that Frei
wants to talk to you.

Frei will give you a greeting, then reports on how the battle is going.

-----
When you enter Altoria you will see Roy(Aluze's Brother), sitting in
Jail. Roy will be thinking about Aluze. The screen will then shift and you
will see Rofar asking what happened to Aluze. The Knight Captain will
explain that Aluze killed Princess Sherad, Ronbelt, and many other
soldiers. Rofar will the get mad at his father. There will then be a flash-
back scene where you see Aluze and Rofar practicing. Aluze will then beat
Rofar and Rofar will say that he wished he could be a genius too. Aluze
will say that it's not genius, it is just a "Distinction" that Aluze and
Rofar have. Aluze then walks over and picks up the Ax. Aluze asks Rofar
to grab the Ax, and then they can practice more. The scene will the come
back to the present. You will see Rofar walking along when he overhears a
Soldier talking about the Fighting Genius had murdered. Rofar will then
drop his head and become sad. The other soldier will ask if he might have
went berserk. There will be another flashback where you see Aluze, Rofar
and his Father standign around. Aluze will be talking about how the world
is going to hell, but about how it's slowly becoming better. The Knight
Captian will say that he sure has an optimist point of view. The scene will
then switch to the top of a Mountain. The Wind will blow some leaves and
then Aluze will get up. Aluze will notice that Rofar likes the wind. The
wind will blow again.
You will now see Rofar talking to a Blue-Haired Swordsman and Woman
Swordsman in a White Outfit. Rofar will be asking them if they think they
can help him get Roy. When neither of them say anything, Rofar will then
say that is what he thought and start to walk away. The Woman(Selia) will
tell him to wait. Selia asks him if he is willing to die just to see this
person. Rofar will not answer. Selia will then talk about the ideals of
justice and that if he was innocent he would have been found innocent.
The Rofar will say he has to do it for this person. The Blue-Haired
Swordsman(Kashel)will ask if that is the "Distinction" that Aluze always
talked about. Rofar will then get mad at Kashel. But then Rofar talks about
how it has to be this way. Kashel will then tell him it's his own death and
he can do it however he likes. Then Kashel will tell him that he should
want to live. Rofar the goes on about how he has to help Roy for Aluze.
Selia will seem sad at this. Rofar then says he has to do it no matter
what. Then a message comes up on the screen telling about how Rofar can't
run away from this.
Rofar will now be outside the jail cell of Roy. Rofar will think about
how his father's name will be corrupted in the Law. Rofar then goes on
about how he and his father have a different sense of Justice. After this
the screen will go blank and you will be back on the world map, but now
you have Rofar in your party. Make sure that you can afford to give him a
Spinning Spear(it's a nice little weapon).
Anyways use your Soul Concentration. It will tell you to goto the
Dragon Caves.

Dragon Caves
------------
Start by heading to the left. After that take the ladder down until
you see the first ledge on your left. Jump to that ledge and then walk
to the left until you reach another ladder that leads up(should be
about two or three screens). Don't climb the ladder up(it just lead to
a exit). Instead just continue to the left and when you can just fall down
to the bottom. Then continue on to the left. Then just jump down that
switch-back path(you can also grab a Zebori in the chest). Once you reach
the bottom head to the right. Then continue walking along the path for
about three screens. You will then reach a room that has a Save Point. Save
your game and then head in to the next room and fall down. Then head to
the left. You will find a room where you can pick up a Foxglove, Aconite,
and the skill Slanting Rain. Then leave this room and jump up until you
can enter the room to the right.
When you enter Valkyrie will walk up to a Dragon. Valkyrie will asks
if this could possibly be the Dragon that was causing all the trouble. The
Lesser Dragon will notice that its The War Goddess Valkyrie. Valkyrie will
then explain that for sometime they have known a dragon was here. Anyways
they go back and forth with the standard dialogue, and eventually you will
enter a battle with the Lesser Dragon.

Boss Battle

Name:Lesser Dragon
HP:9000
Recommended Level:8-9
Attacks:Physical
EXP:5000
Strategy:If you want to you can use the Dragon Slayer and take the dragon
out in one hit, but actually you don't really need to. It only
took me one round to finsh the Lesser Dragon off. I used a party
of Valkyrie, Aluze, Rofar and Sherad and using all of there
attacks + clinchers it was over very quickly. But remeber if you
have trouble with this battle you can always use the Dragon
Slayer.
After the battle you will see two artifacts. Once is the Black
Spear "Onikokutenshi" and the other is the Nakatana "Hirun"(Scarlet Lotus).
I reccommend that you take the Hirun and refuse the Onikokutenshi. After
this head out the way you came, but when you get passed the room that had
the Zebori in it, continue to the right. When you get to this room head
into the cave that is in the middle. When you are in this room head to the
left and you will be able to pick up some more treasue(you can find a Lapis
and a Burn Strom in here). After that head back out, and if you jump up
you can find a Save Point. If you keep jumping up you will then be able to
find a Foxglove, Lapis, Nightshade, and somthing else. Once you get all
those fall back down. The just start heading to the right and follow the
path and you will eventually reach a ladder. But, before you climb it, head
to the left. You will then find a Short Spear and a Cool Dazzel. Once you
have all of that, just climb the ladder, and head to the right and you will
be finshed with the Dragon Caves.
When you use your Sould Concentration it will tell you goto
Clairmonferan.

Jake Linnas
-----------
You will now be in a bar, and a man with a white shirt will then walk
in. This man looks as though he has losed the use of one of his arms. The
Big Man(Gunther) will notice that it is Jake. Jake will say nothing.
Gunther will then talk about how it has been a long time since he has
seen Jake. Gunther will then walk over to Jake and ask him what he is
doing here. Gunther then talks about how they can't have a hero like
Jake here and then punches Jake hard in the shoulder. Jake will then talk
about how he can't run away.
Now you see Jake leaveing the bar. As he does he runs into a young boy.
The boy will be startled. The boy will then notice Jake is injured and
apoligize. Jake will just put his hand on the boy's head. Jake will then
walk off the screen. The scene then changes and you will see two men in a
large circular room. Man A will say that someone he knows saw Jake Linnas
in the town today. Man B will inquire about this. Man B then continues by
asks if they know where he is now. Man A will say that they can find out
quick enough. The scene will then change and you will see Jake standing
in an old moss covered house. Jake will be talking to himself. Jake will
be wondering why he came back here after what happened with the King. The
scene shifts to the outside of Clairmonferan. Jake will be walking along
in the dark when he notices somthing. Jake will asks who is there. You
will then see somebody standing in a "Ninja-like" outfit. Jake will then
pull out his gun, but when he does the "Ninja" leaves. Jake runs over and
notices that he left a letter.
You will then be back in the circular room. Man A will then walk up to
B and tell him that they delivered the letter and that's why... Man B will
wonder what he means by that. Man B will keep wondering, eventually
realizing that Man A knows somthing. The scene the comes back and you see
Jake walk in. Man A will greet Jake. Just as Jake walks over to Man A, two
arrows come out and kill Jake. Man B shows up and the talk about how the
King should be happy. The scene will then shift to the young boy sitting
outside the bar. The Boy will hear two mean talking about how the Knight
could never resist a fight. The Young boy will then bow his head. You
will now see Valkyrie and Jake talking with each other. Jake will say that
his father was talking about this. Jake will then talk about how he has
no regrets what happend to the King. Valkyrie asks even if it mean his
death. Jake will talk about how he was a Knight and he just couldn't make
it in time to save the town. Jake then goes on talking about how 10 years
ago, his father was telling him he couldn't have done anything differnt.
Valkyrie will then tell him that he is weak, but for a human he isn't all
that bad. You will now be on the World Map.
Use your Soul Concentration and it will tell you to goto Nolsof Swamp.

Nolsof Swamp
------------
Start by walking to the left until you can walk up. When your on the
next screen start walking to the right through the swamp. When you reach
the end you will find a chest containing the Shadow Servant spell. But
watch out, the chest has a trap on it. After that walk all the way to the
left until you reach a new screen. You should now be near a hill with a
switch-back path that leads up. Take that path to the top where you will
find another Shadow Servant spell. Then go up where it will let you. You
will find a Holy Crystal near the right wall. After that head down
and take the path that leads to the right. Then just follow the path right
until you can head down. Now just keep going left until you can head. And
you will be back at the hill. The reason I had you do that is so you can
gain a more Experience by killing all those monsters. Anyways work your
way back to the area that you started at and this time head keep going
to the left. Once you get passed the swamp you will find that you are near
a place that you can go down, so do it. Once you are on this screen, just
walk to the left and kill those two monsters. Then come back and go down
where it will let you.
On this screen walk over to the right and you will see a huge swamp.
When you get near the tree Valkyrie will notice that she can cut it. Have
her swing at the tree and it will fall down and create a path for you(You
also get 5000 Experince Points for doing it too). So start walking along
the tree and eventually you will reach a bag. When you open it, you will
find that it contains the skill Charge. You will also see a path that lets
you walk up, so take that path. Now that tree that you think blocking your
way actually is a fake. Just Jump and you will find a path that will let
you through. When you get to the other side you will find a Holy Crystal,
the skill Wait Reaction, an Eye of Heaven, and last a Element Scepter. When
you have all those head back to where you found the skill Charge. If you
keep walking to the left you will find a path that lead down. Just go in
this path and you will find a Save spot to the left. Save and go back to
the screen that had the Charge Skill. Keep walking all the way to the
left. Eventually you will reach a path that will let you go down(it will
be just before the save point). When you take it head to the right and
grab the bag, then goto the first swamp and open the chest you see. It will
contain the Cure Condition skill. Now if you walk to the right you will
find a chest hidden in the swamp. It contains the Naken:"Flare Baselard",
which is essential if you want to beat the Dragon Zombie and don't have
the Dragon Slayer. But, don't go yet. You can still find a Demon Slayer
(kills anything with Demon in it's name in one hit) and a Crystal. They
will both be in the swamp to the left. Anyways once you have all of those
items, head back to the very first Save Point. But, this time head to the
left. Keep going left until you can take a path that leads down. Now,
before you walk to the left, Make sure you have the Dragon Slayer of the
Naken:"Flare Baselard" equipped. Otherwise you will lose this battle. Then
fall down to the left and Valkrie will automatically walk through the mud.
She will come apon a Dragon Zombie. Valkyrie will wonder what the Dragon
could want here. Anyways you have to take the Dragon out, so you get in a
battle.

Strategy:This is a very difficult if you do not have the Naken:"Flare
Baselard" or the Dragon Slayer. Anyways if you have the Dragon
Slayer it is over in one hit. If not it will take some time. And
you will need to be careful since this is the first boss that can
actually kill you, even if you pay attention. Then just try and
get a big combo going and you will win. Also during the second
round Valkyrie will tell you how to find out the enemies weakness
by using the Spectecles. Anyways, just make sure you have the
Dragon Slayer and this battle will be now problem.
Once the battle is over continue walking throught the swamp to the
right. You will come apon two chests eventually, both of them artifacts.
One contains Dryaid Bark(Leave) and the other contains the Tombstone
Sheet(Leave). After you have grabbed both of the treasures you will get
a message saying you received 20000 Experience Points. Then just head to
the right and you will find a exit that will lead you to the world map.
Use your Soul Concentration and it will tell you to goto the Forgotten
Caves, again? Oh, by the way. I use those 20000 Experience to have Belinas
gain 2 levels with the Blue Gray Scarf equipped. I then spend all of his
CP on what Frei wanted in the previous chapter. So I recommend that you
do that too. And then send him up. But, make sure you strip him of the
Scarf(it's too valuable to lose).

Forgotten Caves

I couldn't figure out how to obtain any treasure here. I went as fast
as I could but, still didn't find anything. So just use this as a chance
to fight more enemies. Once you are done, I couln't figure anything else
to do on this chapter. So just sleep until it is time for Chapter 3.

Frei will greet you again and give you an update on the battle. Here

First of all, make Jake into what Frei wants and then send him
up to Valhalla. Once you have done that, use your Soul Concentration and
it will tell you to goto Camille Village.

Kashel

When you enter Camille Village you will notice that everyone has been
turned into Stone. The camera will move to the left and eventually you will
see Kashel and Selia. Selia will comment about how cruel this was. Kashel
will say that Word wasn't wrong. This had to have been done by some Stone-
like creature. Selia will throw out a Basilisk, Cockatrice, and then a
Gorgon. Selia will then say that has to have been it. Kashel will say that
it couldn't have been, since the people would have been crushed. Selia will
then throw out a Medusa as a possiblity. Kashel will say that was what he
was thinking. Kashel then says that they will have to get someone to help
these people. Selia will agree. They then walk to the right and come across
an old sword. Kashel will wonder what that sword is doing there. Kashel
then walks up to the sword a grabs it. He then notice that the sword is
good. Kashel then notice there is an enscription on it. Selia will come up
and notice that its called Ruin. Selia then walks up and note that it looks
as if it could be a match for the famous Grand String. Kashel will be
supprised. After that Selia will walk in the door and note that even the
ruins are turned to stone. She then yells for Kashel to come quickly.
Kashel will say he realize somthing. He was talking to a child who told
him about how Monsters had been sealed away. Kashel then realizes this
must be the place the kid was talking about. Selia won't answer. Kashel
then continues that they have to go back and save the people. Selia will
agree. Then a mysterious voice then start talking to Kashel. Kashel will
then want the voice to come out. Selia will wonder what Kashel is doing. A
flying creature will then come out and stab Kashel. As Kashel is sent
flying he says that he has to protect...and then all of a sudden the
bottle starts to glow.
You will now see Valkyrie holding the bottle. Valkyrie asks him why he
wants to save this. Kashel will be supprised it's the War Goddess Valkyrie.
Kashel will then say that he feels like he is in a dream. After this he
inquire as to what Valkyrie wants to say to him. Valkyrie tells him that
they are going to live. Kashel will wonder about this. Valkyrie then
repeats that they are going to live. You will then see Kashel disappear and
Valkyrie carefully place the bottle on the ground. You will then see Selia
come over and pick it up. She is supprised it isn't broken, but then feels
bad for Kashel. You will now see Selia with a little girl. Selia will be
talking about how she doesn't have the strength to live and that she misses
him. Selia then falls down crying.
You will now be back on the world map. I put Kashel in my party, since
I like him. After that use your Soul Concentration. You will then be told
to goto Firan. So do it.

Jun

You will see a Young Woman crying in a shrine in the Rain. The Young
Woman will then walk to the left where a old man is standing. The Old Man
(Listed simply as a Shinto Priest) tells they young woman to go home and
get some sleep. The Young Woman(Ashie) says that her brother won't be doing
anything anyways. Ashie then talks about how if only her brother hadn't
have gone on that Journey. The Shinto Priest will agree. You will then be
in a town scene with three young man. Townsman 1 will ask about a Demon.
Townsman 2 will ask where this Demon is. The Man(simply listed as
"Samurai") will say that he will go.
You will now be in the Demons Lair and you will see that Samurai has
lost. The Demon say it was a nice try, but today isn't your day. The
Samurai will then scream. You will then be back and the Shinto Priest
will talk about how it was lucky the other two survived. Ashie then will
tell him that she lost her brother in the process. The Shinto Priest then
goes on about how he understands and about how he has always protected
her. Ashie then agrees with that. The Shinto Priest says that she can come
back anytime she wants. The Shinto Priest then says not to worry, her
brother wont be attaked by any undead.
You will be back in the Demons Lair now. Valkyrie will walk up to him.
The Demon says that he will add her soul to his collection. Valkyrie will
then walk forward and says "Soul? Oh, I don't have one of those..." She
then takes the Demon out with one slash. You will then see the Demon flash
and suddenly become the Samurai. There will then be a flashback and the
Demon will be explaning to Jun that when he dies Jun will become him.
Jun can't belive this and says that he won't die. The Demon will keep
talking how Jun will be killed. Jun will then state that he won't die, he
has to keep living. The Demon will be supprised at this. Jun says that
this time he will give it all of his strength. There will be a flash of
light and you will see the Demon down. Jun wonders why the Demon isn't
changing into a human. The Demon then explains that he is going to change
into Jun. You then see Jun tranform into the Demon. The Demon will be
happy he is still alive. You will then go to the present and Jun will
ask Valkyrie where the Demon is. Valkyrie will explain the Demon isn't
here any more. That Jun and she got rid of it. Jun will then realize the
demon took his Soul. She then tells Jun not to worry. She has his soul
and she wants his help. Valkyrie keeps talking until she eventually tells
Jun that he is hers now. Jun then realize that his soul is alright.
You will now see the Shinto Priest and Ashie standing outside. There is
now a Rainbow out too. Ashie will wonder if her brother is doing all
right. She then continues say that she is alone now. The Shinto Priest
will wonder why she says that. Ashie says she doesn't know why, but that
is how she feels.
You now have Jun. I really like Jun since his Clincher attacks 15 times
(The only other that attacks more times is Bram). Anyways You will now be
on the World Map. Use your Soul Concentration and you will be told to
goto the Forgotten Caves.

Forgotten Caves

I wasn't able to find any treasure in this one either, but I did use
it as a level gaining area. So just use it as that. Once you have all
the enemies killed, use your Soul Concentration and it will tell you to
goto Frian.

Yumeru
------
The scene will open up with you seeing a "Tall" ship. The camera will
then slowly move down until you see a Mermaid sitting on a piece of
wrekage. The Mermaid(Yumeru) will wonder if everyone is doing okay. You
will then see a two men on the ship. The man on the left will walk over.
His name is Katsuo. He will say that is not good, they won't be able to
make it today. The other Man(simply listed as Father Like) says that they
can always make it tomorrow. Katsuo will start walking to the left and
looking. The Father Figure will ask him what's wrong. Katsuo will ask
him if he sees the beautiful island out there. The Father Figure will say
that they are surround by water. Katsuo says that he know this. Yumeru then
shouts out for them to help her. You then go back to a close-up of Yumeru
as she shouts for help again. Yumeru then says if they help here she will
take them to a beautiful island inhabited by Maidens. The screen will then
flash and you will see Yumeru on board the ship.
The Father Figure will be asking if she is all right. Yumeru says that
she is. The Father Figure wants to know how she got here. Yumeru answers
that she was shipwreked. The Father Figure will wonder about what happend
to all the other people. Yumeru says she doesn't know. After a brief pause,
The Father Figure will ask what her name is. Yumeru answers with her name.
The Father Figure will tell Katsuo to go below deck. Katsuo wants to know
why he needs it. The Screen will then go black for a second and when it
reappears you will see Yumeru with The Father Figure. Yumeru asks if the
Father Figure knows about Lapis. The Father Figure will be supprised at
this. Then asks if she means the Jewel. Yumeru then says yes, but she needs
some help. The Father Figure wants to know how she learned about this.
Yumeru says she saw it. They go on about that and eventually the screen
will go blank and Yumeru will be telling about how there is no Lapis.
After that the ship will then shake. Yumeru will ask what that was.
Katsuo wonders if she really wants to know, and tells them there is a
Gaint Whirlpool ahead. Yumeru wonders what a Whirlpool is and Katsuo
explains it to her. The screen will go black and you will see the ship
in the port. Katsuo will come out and say he wants Lapis too. Yumeru
wonders what he is talking about. Katsuo says the he overheard you talking
to The Father Figure and says that he wants some too. Katsuo and and
Yumeru will walk along the dock and then Katsuo will notice that you
changed. Yumeru will thank him, but then says she hasn't changed. Katsuo
will apoligize. They both then continue to walk along the dock. Yumeru
will then ask Katsuo what he dreams about. Katsuo says that one day he
would like to have his own ship. Just as you reach the end Katsu will
stop and asks Yumeru. Yumeru will then say that she hasn't done anything.
Katsu will say he knows this. The scene will change again and you will
see The Father Figure and Yumeru in a room.
The Father Figure will tell Yumeru that he will take her where she
wants to go, but in return she has to tell him where it is. Yumeru says
she doesn't have any time for this and that she needs to go return to her
father. The Father Figure will ask what his name is. Yumeru will say it
is Kou Riren. The Father Figure then wonders if this is the same Kou
of the Koushou Army. Yumeru will ask who he knows. The Father Figure will
say by the reputation. The Father Figure then says that he hate to bring
you bad news but the Koushou Army was wiped out. He then goes on explaing
about their defeat. You will then see Katsuo outside listening. He can't
believe what his father figure is saying. And wonders about Yumeru. You
will then see Yumeru and Katsuo in a room. Katsuo will say that this
"Kou" isn't here. He then says that he is going. Yumeru says that she
isn't. Katsuo wants to know why she is waiting for someone who will
never show up. Katsuo will then wonder if Yumeru told the truth about
the Lapis. Yumeru will say there never was any Lapis. Yumeru then jumps
out of the window. Katsuo tells her to wait. Katsuo will be wondering
where she went, and then he thinks that she might have drowened in the
ocean. You will then hear a noise. Katsuo will realize that it is a
Whirlpool. Katsuo then walks to the right and sees a Mermaid and wonders
if it is Yumeru. Yumeru will then explain that she was never human. Katsuo
will say that can't be. Yumeru tells him to hurry and get away, a Giant
Whirlpool is coming. Katsuo will then walk into the water and ask if
Yumeru is going to search for her father. Yumeru will say nothing and
Katsuo will say that is a shock. Katsuo will then explain that she isn't
strong enough. Yumeru will tell him he is wrong. She explains that she
isn't going to wait for the return of her father. Katsuo will wonder what
she means by this. Yumeru will then explain her mother is dead too. She
