Bowling on Thursday.... oh dear.... some would say, we got bit*h slapped, pistol whipped, battered, white washed, but essentially we, and that's the Royal we. got our butts handed to us on a chipped plate... not even bone china mate, we got thumped.... final score was 8 - 0... going into to the last game we were 99 pins down... and we lost the last game so we were even more pins down....thing is we put in reasonable scores considering we hadn't bowled for 5 weeks... 132, 128, 127, 96, 136 and 116... but yep we lost....... badly.....It reminds me of that football commentary where the commentator reeled off a whole list of British figure heads and ended it with... "Your boys took a hell of a beating"....
Friday was a pretty chilled day as we had a desk shake up so it was a dress down day and being in IT we had disconnect all the movers and shakers PC's, so I volunteered for the role while the rest if IT went to the pub.... after I'd done all the desk by 2pm... I headed home.... ahhh the joys of being in IT... as the IT department were part of the move the whole system was down...
The joy of heading home was short lived though as I got to New Street to catch the 1448 home.... but we didn't leave New Street till 1524.... because the train driver was late.... yep, the train driver was late, so the 400+ people on the train had to wait for him....muppet...

Bucky is a mutual friend to everyone, but I was introduced to him by The Geek Syndicate and he has been a good good friend, his currently in the throes of providing me with Season 2 of Heroes....
Monday was again pretty chilled as it was unpack your desk day, from the weekend's moves, that said I did actually do some work, though the life of Riley I have to admit I've been milking is a little harder now as the whole of IT sit together now, whereas before I was out on a slight limb, so it was harder to spot how long I'd been away from the desk, which is all good because for what I do I get pretty well paid so it's time to earn my keep... that said I'm leaving the office at 1530 today, got a "meeting" with my pal Mr W...
