A pretty chilled weekend in Camstar's World, though I did get some mixed news... all you regular readers may remember back in late September I mentioned I was gonna be getting a two - three day a week flatmate called Kat, as she was starting a new job and needed a base to work outta.... but then she had an op in October and was laid up will January... yes one of the women ops... So she'd only actually stayed in my house twice in all the time... well I was in communication with her over the weekend and alas she now won't be moving in as she's found a place in Irthlingborough, which, if you didn't know is probably the smallest town in England.
I feel kinda mixed about the news, part of me is chuffed she's got her own place as that means I keep my own space, so can walk about the house in my "Tanga's", go to the bathroom without locking the door and be a general slob without worry, but more of me is kinda upset as it would have been cool to have another person to bounce ideas off a couple days a week, as she's not the best as cooking, it would have been cool cooking for two, also would have been cool to pop down the local, as since moving to where I live, I've never been to my local... it's not like the New York culture...
So I won't be having a flatmate just in case any of you were wondering what ever happened to her, so I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Kat all the best in her endeavours and I'm sure her hubby feels a whole lot better about her staying in her own place instead of staying with a single bloke his never met
Friday, you may recall I said I was heading out to go catch Ramsay doing his national cook along.... sad to say I actually did plug into the show as I had been joking about watching it... Good ole Gordon, he was a little hyper don't you thing, he was pretty excited about the whole thing, though the bit I didn't quite get was, the studio audience.... why were you there... it's not like you were getting fed, surely you must of had something better to do.... say's me who was at home alone watching the show.... I just didn't get it... oh and I didn't even know Celeb Big Brother had commenced, I thought they'd shelved that show.... who's in it this time round? I know I coudl read up on it, but nope not going to....
Plans this week... well today, I'll be heading home on the "F" of 4.30pm...will be plugging into Fifth Gear which starts once again today, in fact telly viewing has really picked up overthe last couple of weeks... Fifth Gear is back, as is CSI and CSI NY, also Numbers new season has started up... Also my personal fav... Homes under the Hammer... Also this week, I seriously need to pull my finger out and go and see I Am Legend, I keep putting it off. Obviously got 10 Pin on Thursday and "Miller Time" on Friday... Actually Saturday this week I got an invite to a birthday party down in the Walton (On Thames) area and I can bring a guest... but alas I'll just be taking my left hand... oh well... on that note, Peace, Unity, Love and Having Fun to yawl, will touch base probably Wednesday, and the song of the moment for me is Amy Winehouse – Love is Losing Game…..man and don’t I know that….
