Some people do my head in, they will find anything to moan about. I can understand if you’re a cantankerous old git, who feels hard done by because it’s winter and the government has screwed you over by raises winter fuel prices and dropped your winter allowance, but when you some bird whose in her mid 20’s….. please sister get a dang life… Was out and about on Friday night, and the tap with a few people, and over heard some bird complaining about Americans, saying how rude the customs officers were, and they should be grateful that we’re going to their country to spend out money, and then she said the classic line, that is almost as amusing as when someone says… “I’m not being racist but…..” her line was… “Come on do I really look like a terrorist… “and there in lies the ignorance of some people in our society….

Here’s a novel idea…how about the next time you’re in U S customs, you actually talk to the customs officers trying not to sound patronising and ask if they’ve had a good day and then wish them a pleasant day… after all… you’re on vacation… they are at work…. And I’m sure you always are top of the morning when you’re at work……

I can def relate to how some custom officers may feel. When you’re DJing at a club the expectation is that you are what drives the atmosphere of the evening, no matter how you’re feeling, and sorry unlike your day job, you can’t just pick up the phone say… “Oh I’ve got a slight sniffle I won’t be in tonight”... no matter how you feel, unless you are literally at death’s door, the show must go on… and whilst everyone around ya is getting hammered and so forth, you are at work.

Yeah yeah DJing is a fun job, but what you got to remember, it’s you who is helping to give many people the memories of their night out, if you play a poor set and the completely wrong music, it’s the people out there who have a bad night… remember, a DJ is only as good as his last set.

As for the weekend, it was pretty chilled, I went to the local gym first thing Saturday as in 9am, was planning on chilling in the sauna for 30 minutes or so as a bit of a detox from Friday night’s drinking session with Wendell, Keano, Whitters and TW House, but alas I got to gym and the sauna wasn't even on, so was not best pleased about that, as my intention when I sign up fully for the gym is to try and get to the sauna at least twice a week… I did check with the member of staff on duty and she confirmed it was a one off usually the sauna is good to go by 0910…. I guess we shall see…..

Pretty much most of the weekend was spent, downloading music for this weekend’s Toga soiree and also playing Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PS3… and I have to say… what a game, I my opinion, so far, as not completed the game yet… this has to be by far the best game on the PS3 yet, I shall be writing a review at some point…. You’ve read the review for Drake’s Fortune, if not here is the URL... http://www.musicwithtc.co.uk/DrakesFortune.html that got a 9/10… I’m tempted to down mark Drake’s so I can give MGS4 a justified 10/10… yes it’s that good a game.

I seem to have acquired a travel buddy for Florida… though could she be another talking a good game candidate….. we shall see… for the purpose of the blog, we’ll call her “9 Ball”… watch this space as to whether she talker or a doer… and with that intriguing nickname I shall say Peace, Unity, Love and Having Fun to yawl.
