Well, I first have to tell you all that I'm touched by all you coming together and answering my question about chivalry and men's philosophy behind it. I even have to say I am glad Chris was honest with me (even if it wasn't something desireable to hear). I would much rather hear all the honesty in the world than all these sugar coated statements about how men act. It truly meant a lot to me to know that I could turn to you all since you are my family. Well, what happened with my boyfriend is he was not feeling well which was really not a bad reason to leave me hanging, but still, he could have easily picked up the phone and told me he was sick. Oh well, it's over now so I suppose that's all that matters. The day has passed.
He called me shortly after I typed that livid post and said he had just started to feel better and then he said he was gonna get money and come by and pick me up. So about a half hour later we left and went to see Employee of the Month.
Can't really say I was too humored by the movie.
I think the whole setting of the store just didn't make me like it. It made me hate it actually. The only part of the movie I liked was when Dane Cook is at a birthday party and launches poppers at his friend for making fun of him. My boyfriend loved the movie which is good for him. Me, however, I wasn't too impressed. Those are two hours of my life I wish I could have back.
So then after that it was about 9:30 and so we both got in his car and just kinda drove around. I was really not sure what to do, and he wasn't either. Most places we would usually go to were closed by then so we just kinda drove around the area and talked about things.
After about an hour, he got tired and drove us back to his house where we stayed for no more than a minute simply because he was tired and sleepy. So he drove me home and then that was our night.
Today was spent with my extended family.
We were celebrating my Grandpa's brother's birthday. He was turning 90 years old. So we went and hung around him and his grandchildren for awhile...which literally scratched, squeezed and squished me to death. I swear, I have no idea how I was able to put up with it. It must just be a gene engraved in every woman. We must just be more tolerant of little kids. Or maybe it's just something engrained in all adults. We're just trained to be patient with the younger ones simply because they are young.
Then after the party we all dispersed and I went and hung out with my youngest cousin (Kelsey) and another cousin who's three years older (Dustin) and we played Mario Party 6. That was a very fun game. We had a great time.
So at about 10:30 Pm I decided I best come home and so here I am. It's been an hour since I came home and I am just now writing this entry.
How fun!
Also, in other news, my Halloween costume is needing to be created. My cousin Kels said she would bring me an assortment of cat noses for me to look at and see if I would like to wear them for Halloween.
For those of you whom are confused, my Halloween costume got changed. I've changed it to this fellow right here. So, you can all pretty much just see it now can't you?
Anyway, I hope you all are doing well.
Have a goodnight/good day everyone!
