sound issues

    k, so i am getting the crackle from my speakers. im connected through my hdmi cable . im not sure what im doing wrong . i have turned off the digital 5.1 thus getting no sound. im very frustrated. Please help

    It may be the HDMI cable that is causing the crackle if you have gone with one of the extremely cheap versions. If your audio system has a jack for optical cable I would suggest trting that for your audio and leave the HDMI for the video.
