• Has anyone had a problem with Gt3? I put the disk inside and it takes like 15 minutes to read the disk it later says "Disk Read Error". I think my disk is scratched. What is the best way to fix a scratched disk? I tried the disk doctor and tooth paste(on tech tv they said tooth paste works)nothing worked. Is there any other methods? I have a feeling it is my PS2 because the scracth marks are in a circular path. Someone please help! I dont want to spend another $50s on a new one!! :(
  • Your laser may be out of alignment. This could cause scratches on the disk and also disk read errors. Have you accidentally knocked over your PS2 anytime while playing GT3 or while GT3 was in the system? If so then there are grooves in the tray of the PS2 that could cause the scratches, but only if the system was jarred while the system was on. If you think it's the first problem then you'll want to contact Sony as soon as possible so you can get that fixed and be back into the gaming. If it's just GT3 that's messing uop then it could have been caused by dust buildup that was on the cd when you played it. Well, i hope that you enjoy posting and hopefully you get that console working right again so you can have fun gaming too.
  • trust me toothpaste dosent work  buy a cd repair kit
