• I have a PS2 V12 slimline with DMS4 SE PRO modchip. It was working fine till about a month ago. I cracked the Ps2 open, saw that the button on the reset/power PCB was loose, and proceeded to re-solder. I messed up and subjected the PCB to an electrical burn. After replacing the PCB, my PS2 still does not turn on... Could it be that the electrical burn also fried my main PSU (power supply unit) and if so, where can I find a replacement?

    Thanks for the help,

  • Most likely the entire board is burnt and you'll need to get a new system.

As we mention in our guidelines, btw, we do not support the use of mod chips and will not offer any assistance in modding issues.
