error 8002AD36
  • just recently i have had another error (80710B23) show up which prevented me from even signing in to PSN. Now that this has stopped, i am able to sign in, but are frequently disconnected...especially during online games. This is when i recieve the code 8002AD36.

    Could someone please help me understand what this error means, and if there is a solution?
  • That code (as determined by Sony's own code translator, handily linked to in the PS3 Console and Accessory section ;) ) says this error is due to either congestion from your internet provider or too weak of signal from your wi-fi.

    You may want to check the error code checker for yourself- they also give links to troubleshoot the connection for both wired and wireless when you search the code.
