  • Well currently I'm on my summer break from school, I'm trying to find a summer job so that I can save enough to buy an extra memory for my computer so I can play online games :D
  • Right this minute..... I am watching Stewie threaten the doctor with a popsicle stick. Yeah, times like these make me wish I had a homicidal baby that wanted to kill everyone and dismember stuffed animals. Then again..... >.>

Annnnnnd..... talking on IRC, because I am always logged in to IRC. I'm a busy man and all, what with my talking... and thoughts of homicidal babies.
  • I am looking at some Puroresu (Japanese Pro Wrestling) vids and trying to decide if I wanna go into work in the A.M. or not :(
  • Right now I'm avoiding going back to school to do drafts for our Volvo protoype that is due in three weeks. Other than that I'm designing a layout for a home page that does some syncronizing of some sort :g: and waiting for my son to awake so we can take a strolloutdoors.

    2) prolly be no sun until august!

  • Well, being the great multi-tasker that I am, I am watching Samurai Champloo, playing Suikoden V, talking on IRC, and I think I just stabbed myself.... *pulls nametag out of pocket*... Yes, yes I did just stab myself. I think I might throw some Family Guy season 1 in my PSP after Champloo is over, so I don't have to keep flipping the tv back to Component to play my PS2.

In any case, good times. Also, chocolate covered peanuts with Pepsi are the bomb.
  • Spent most of the time since i woke up scrubbing self tan!! The bloody stuff has congregated round my wrist to form an unusual orange blob - reSt looks ok tho!!

now gonna go watch brekkie - watch GMTV then drivre to work, get a paper (RICHARD HAMMOND FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Then go to work and wait and see if a pharmacist shows up

  • Winding down with a glas or 4 of chilled water!!! Trying to detox & no beer this weekend or next week as keeping fit for June then getting wasted. Bike finally clean & went for a little ride in the wet! been kicked of Guitar Hero & listening to Jane playing Sum 41 - Fat Lip. If she plays it again she'll get more than a Fat Lip!!

Off to chill in bed early & watch Earl as I'm up early with Jane. No rest of the wicked or me even!!

So have you got rid of your tan bracelets yet? Have you tried lemon juice? That should do it.
  • Yeah have lost the tan bracelet lol!!

Was mildly amusing - i went in work yesterday and shouted 'this bloody fake tan makes me look like an indian' When low and behold who was sat out of my view - Our friendly neighbourhood pharmacist locum HUSSAIN!!!!!!! Behold my apologising to make it up!!!!! Luckily he wasnt offended!

I dont wanna be dark - just a bit of bronze. Thats why ive tried those dove moisturisers with 'hint of tan' HInt my ar$e!!

Will prolly scrub it off tomorrow - got a streaking kit to put red streaks in me black hair and i dont think the tan will go..

As for my boss's birthday will just scare him with my corpse legs!!

And i dont think thigh highboots will work @ donington!! Have u seen the hills there?? I find it hard enough to walk on the flat when im drunk nevermind hills + heels!!!

Anyways im going to work in ten mins - tiff is taking me he wants my car :g: And some latex gloves oooo er missus!

  • Right now I am watching American Chopper, checking out Api and talking with a friend with a IM

I am fresh off the train and looking to get caught-up with my peeps here. Way too much drama in my life, today. I need more action, and more comedy....no more drama.

I had a hell of a month in February for getting tickets, and now it's time to pay the courts, and that sucks! I've been spending too much lately, and I have to rein that in. Other than that, all is pretty good with me.

Every day that I draw breath, I'm overpaid. :D

That, and I get to play with my new dog, Barney. When I figger out how to upload an image, I'll show him off. He's awesome!

Looks like it's going to get trashed and left at Donni as seen a nice sexy 5 man big ass one that can have parties in!!!

checked online bank & can get some bits & bobs at weekend, dunno what bits & bobs to get but would think in the line of beer & beers!

Wanted to frag some people but looks like there already beat me to it! (I remember when you want in!!)

What's he like? Well, he's real wiggly. He loves to play and he loves to eat and he loves to chew on everything and take naps. He's a great little puppy.

How old is he? Eleven weeks this Friday.

He's an AKC registered 13" tri-colored Beagle. He's an AWESOME specimen of what a Beagle should look like. Granted, my impartiality in this matter is questionable, but he is a great looking little fella. I've been trying to get a good photo for days, but he won't quit wiggling. If his eyes are open, he's in motion. I'll post photos, though. I swear.

AWWWWWWW HOW ADORABLE!! WB!! I never thought of you as the type to be partial to beagles.

Well after working at Knott's Berry Farm for a year and a half by Christmas last year I had enough to purchase a five week old purebred female beagle. No papers, but I met the parents whom had papers. One of the parents looked like my old dog Bandit so I was really excited over bringing "Maddie" (the new beagle) home. Problem is that I had to play mother for three days. I got maybe a total of 7 hours of sleep in those three days.

Kinda made me rethink getting married and having kids...though I gotta say, when all is said and done I love the little monster. She thinks of me as her mother more than any regular puppy would since I got her just barely after she had learned to walk, see and pee on her own. (though she rarely did widdle on the pads)

She's gonna be 6 months on the 13th and two days later she's getting spayed. I'm gonna be spending my birthday watching over her making sure she doesn't yank the stitches out.

What's really happening right now? I'm trying to register for classes for next semester and hoping that my change of major form will be in effect next semester though I still have yet to turn it in.

I'm also looking for a new job. I applied at Petsmart, Petco and Borders and I never got called back. The next few on the list are Cafe El Cholo and Bobby McGee's. Either way, I hope I get the job. I'm running out of money. :crybaby:

I'm also going to start writing articles for a newsletter so my writing career is gonna start picking up. It's gonna be great.

I'm excited. Things couldn't possibly get any better.
  • Aww red - too cute of a dog!!

Dont give up on the job thing!! I remember applying for every job going wheni was at college - until i got on at macs - the money is pretty good for students doing the unpopular shifts - PLEASE post pics of your dogs guys - i miss my dog since i moved up here to be with tiff and he wont let me have one SPOILSPORT!

Really? I've been wanting a Beagle for years. I was looking for a Beagle when I "found" Charlie (Liver/White English Springer Spaniel) in '93, and I've wanted one since Charlie was put down in '02. Like your little monster, my Barney is a handful. He's twelve weeks this week, maybe in a few months we can introduce our Beagles to each other...

This morning I was able to get some decent photos while he was busy working a rib bone. Hopefully, they're the right size and format and what-not to get them up.

    image

    Crap!

Oh, well. If you want to see an action shot of Barney gnawing a little rib bone, click to see my personal profile.
  • WB that beagle is a beauty! Looks a lot like my old one that we had to put down in '04. The picture on my avatar is of Maddie, but that's her the night I first had her. I've got some up to date photos, but I can't get the PC to up load them from the memory card...so until then, they'll be in my digi cam.

My personal profile is a picture of my other clingy beagle Tifa.

    Gotta love the beagles.

I have 3 or 4 weeks left of this semester and it is completely busy and Economics is impossible to understand with all this GPD and AE = C + I + G + EX - IM and the multipliers! Gah! I can't wait to get a break and I promise I will study harder next semester, but it never happens. Ah well, guess thats life. :censored:

Im going to add Ive had a big change in thinking lately, its really changed who I am, I guess that is the way life is, somethings are just fads and the rest is real life. Ive dropped all the radical ideas I used to have and really opened up to thinking what I want to think, rather than what other people would expect me to think, or what I am "supposed" to think. I feel more my own person now, and I think that is a good thing. Its surprising how quickly these things change. All I have left to say is im happy :)

  • Got my first employer call back a few days ago to come in for an interview. It's the first place that's called back since I've been applying.

I've applied at 13 places and counting..and finally one has called back. I'm hoping I get the job. The job description says as follows:

"Interacts with Pet Parents while checking pets in/out and providing Unleashed service. Feeds and cares for guests. Walk dogs, conducts play times with groups of dogs, and spends time with cats. Monitors each guest to ensure clean water and comfortable bedding. Cleans rooms, dishes, and laundry. Maintains a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all of our guests. "

I read that and figured it'd be a perfect job for me. So all you guys cross your fingers. I really want this job.

I figured I was going to go shopping for a new car today, but my dad had to head into work. Sister is away at her boy's house and mother just left to go to a wedding shower.

So now I'm home alone and I'm gonna grab my Red Vs Blue DVDs and watch them all...until a friend calls me.

It wasn't until about 11 PM after 3 beers and half a flask of Caol Ilar it began to come clear to me. I am actually done with school, I may have to start looking for employment and move and all that.

So, as I said, I'm sitting here kinda stunned.

Congrats M! Time to become a contributing member of the workforce? It's overrated, if you ask me, and I suggest you go back to school for a higher degree. Stay in school for as long as possible. Right now I am sitting here, rather dazzled, dazed and confused.
This weekend, it seems, I gratuated from the university.
The funny thing is that I have been sort of busy with my project (which still isn't finnished) and so during the handing out of diplomas and pins and picturetaking and stuff yesterday I didn't really undeerstand what it was all about. It wasn't until about 11 PM after 3 beers and half a flask of Caol Ilar it began to come clear to me. I am actually done with school, I may have to start looking for employment and move and all that.

So, as I said, I'm sitting here kinda stunned.

Congrats Manne and welcome to the working world.
  • Thanks all.:D
I actually have a couple of loose ends left in school and a master thesis as well before I get to call myself an actual engineer, but if any of you needs a new machine designer or a boss you'll let me know right. I'm open to all suggestions (no, lola I will not accept payment "au de naturelle" for any more state of the art designs on high velocity oscilator, thank you ;) )
  • a high velocity oscilator?? and Lola told me that that was a funk machine!! :devilish:

but then again any fine example of the female kind, like our beloved Lola, does then to have high maintenance requirements - and occasionally it appears that those involve emloying a mechanical engineer....... :g:
