Was she bruised in any way relating to the murder?

Was she bruised around the throat?

Was she tied up? (Lola style!!)

    was the poison ingested (swallowed)?

    was the poison injected?

    was the poison inhaled?

    was she good looking?

  • Was she bruised in any way relating to the murder?
    No.
Was she bruised around the throat?
    No.
Was she tied up? (Lola style!!)
    No.
    was the poison ingested (swallowed)?
    No.
    was the poison injected?
    No.
    was the poison inhaled?
    No.
    was she good looking?
    Yes, she was
  • so if the poison wasnt breathed in, swallowed or injected, it must have been absorbed through the skin. is this right?

was she wearing a new makeup?
  • Yes.

Who can tell. I'll say presumably not!
  • Did she recently have a tattoo?
Did she use hand or body lotion?
    Was the body clothed?
  • Was it (the poison) painted on?

Was she sitting in a bath full of it?

Was the floor covered in it and her barefoot or naked?

    No,
    Yes,
    Yes.

    Yes,
    No,
    No.
  • so the story so far is that our victim was found fully clothed in a bath of poison that was absorbed through the skin and our detective deduced that this was a murder.
Am I on the same page here?

    if so

    was she tied up?

    was she gagged?

had she been rendered unconsious prior to her placement in the bath?
  • :D Sorry, made a sloppy job copy-pasting.

I've edited the post as you may see.

    The story so far is:
Detective Larson finds the murdered woman in her apartment.
The detective relized that she must have been murdered.
Something about her body gave rise to suggesting so.
Detective Larson had also witness the victim take part in a fight some time ago.
The victim was, or used to be good looking.

She was poisoned by a, not per se-slow acting poison which was painted on her and absolrbed through the skin.

    Are we all set?
    OK, ready, go!

BTW Majik, no is the answer to all your latest questions, including the one on being on the same page (unfortunatly it was I who were on the wrong page there for a while :bag: .)
  • so the poison substance was painted on.

    On 100% of her skin?

was the victim mute? as in couldnt speak
(since she hadnt been knock unconsious was not bound or gaged i havent a clue how she didnt raise the alarm!)
was she confined to bed or a wheelchair?
Was she physically disabled in some manner?

  • so the poison substance was painted on. Yea

    On 100% of her skin?
    Neigh

was the victim mute? as in couldnt speak
    Neigh

    Neigh.

There are alot of different ways you can be murdered without feeling the urge to raise the alarm. ;)

  • was the poison some form of nerve agent that rendered her imobile?

did she die of boredom thinking the paint on her skin was liquid viagra?

  • The most infuriating thing is that I've heard this one and the answer is ridiculously simple....but I cannot remember what it is! Doh!

    **resumes lurking**
  • Was the poison flesh eating?

Was she tricked into getting the poison painted on her?
  • Was she a mime, by profession?
Was she a clown, by profession?
  •

Eeer, No. to both seemingly odd questions

I don't think they are odd, Manne - both mimes and clowns use face/body paint! :D
  • Was she a model?

    Was she a hooker?

Was the poison applied to her in the room she was found in?

    Was the poison substance coloured?

:D Aaah, now I understand what you're aiming at. (Guess I of all people should have realized that). In that case I must say: What a clever point of view, you truely have the mind of a master detective.

    As for Majik,

No, she wasn't a model, neiter in any way asociated with Mistress L.
The poison didn't necesarely have to be applied in the same room.
The substance containing the poison was indeed colored, as in not transparent.

I'm sure I have no idea to what you might be alluding. It's that Majik, isn't it? Implying I might in some way be corrupt. :devilish:
  • Yes that he his, but also the fact that I were a member of the bordello during last AvAw. Purely maintance work of course. -_-

Naturally...and that is why you should join the Guild of Mistress Lola! :devilish:

Hmmm. :g: Give up being guildmaster of the mightiest guild of all, The Loop, to become a lackey at the 2nd rate bordello down the street. :harhar: Now that is a tough decision.

And now back to our regularly scheduled program...

Was this non transparent poison applied to her face?
Was this non transparent poison applied anywhere to her hands?
Was this non transparent poison applied to her feet?

    [/b]

2nd rate? I'll have you know I run the finest establishment in town! And nobody there is a lackey - everyone is happy to serve me work there. :devilish:
  • Charger, the poison were on her face only.
  • Does the poison smell?
Is the poison made of house hold products?
  • The poison does not smell.
The poison is not made up from household articles (allthough it can be found in a specific household product, the poison did not come from that source in this murder)
  • Ok

so you are giving slightly more than yes / no now as an answer....

where did the fight that larrson witnessed occur?

    how many were involved?

why was larrson there to witness it?

    why was the victim there?

  • Oh, I'm sorry. I just wanted to make sure that neither the question/answer were missunderstood.

I won't be answering any questions other than boolean (true/false).
But I might throw in a hint here and there, or an additional explanation if I feel there is room for missunderstanding.

To atleast give you someting Majik I can say that there were two people ivolved in the fight and all the other questions are of no relevance.

To hint all of you who have an interest in solving this mystery, might I suggest that you find out why the fight is even mentioned in the intro... :bag:
  • Was it a boxing/wrestling match?
  • No. Not with gloves/tights and a referee, no.
  • Was Michelle involved in another fight prior to the murder?
Did this original fight on the 24th involve mud or oil (as in female mud wrestling?) :w00t2:
  • How should I put this, :g: hmmmm

Kissassmonk, this game is constructed so that you ask questions that can be answered with either yes or no, and, then little by little, you begin to see the big picture. There is always an intro, I presume you have read it. If not go back a page or two and you'll find it.

Now, depending on your tone of voice and pitch, "a car" may qualify as a question, but even though, I'd like you to elaborate a bit. You see I can not answer such a short statement without risking to have misenterpreted its purpose. Well, actually I can since there is no car what so ever involved in this case.

    Get it? Got it? Good!

  • Did Michelle drive her car to the mud/oil wrestling fight on the 24th?

Was Michelle using facial cream prior to the murder?
  • Yes she did
  • thats hard....is it a motorbike
  • Oh, for christ sake!!! :bash:
  • OK, so this one died. I'd though I's give closure to it though.

The woman died from Thallium poisoning.
The key would have been that the detective saw a mud fight in which a big chunk of hair came loose (one of the characteristics of thallium poisoning).
The thallium was in her mascara and if I remember it correctly her boyfriend put it there for some reason.

    The end.
  • let me revive this thread

I'm from Manchester, I go to Scotland on Wednesday. Three days later I go back to Manchester on Wednesday. How was that possible
  • Okay, I'll bite...

Is Wednesday the name of something other than a day of the week?
  • yes, well you probably have got the answer now

even though I have a better one
  • Let's play the game to it's conclusion before we start another, eh? (btw - I moved your other riddle to riddle me this)

    Is Wednesday an animal?
  • yep it very well is
  • Is Wednesday an equine?
  • was it that easy?
    Of course it is.
    you win
