Actually Lyn, it is in the law that if you have the chances of getting tips then you can make as low as about $4.50(or something like that). There's still a minimum but it's just alot lower for people that could get tips. Anywho, here's what i think: 1. I think it's right. Basically, people leave tips based on the service they get and if it's crap then the employee doesn't deserve to get paid. Basically, if someone signs up to work under these conditions, then that's up to that person. I think that people should know what they're getting into and that they will do their job well enough to get th pay that they want. 2. No, i don't think that these places should do this. It should be left up to the consumer on how much of a tip is left. 3. I think that they should pay taxes on them to the government but i don't think that their places of work should touch that money, since it has nothing to do with the businesses but rather that employee and their service. 4. If you think about it, all money earned by anyone has been taxed before so no i don't think so. As long as the money earned in tips isn't taxed by the place of business but rather just the government then i think that it's the way things should be(even if they take more than i'd hope for). 5. Yes, i fully believe in tipping. If the person serving me is providing the service that should be applied then i feel that they deserve to get paid for their services. I think it's common courtesy. That's how i feel on the subject at least. Well, i hope that you all enjoy posting and have fun gaming. Yeah, that's very possible Lyn. Don't for sure though.
