I think that it should be up to the parent to keep track of what their children are playing, all these special interests groups are screaming bloody murder about the industry letting kids play these games, well I have a question, since when did the industry become the parent to millions of children? Blaming video games for all of society's problems is a quick way of avoiding the blame, look back at human history and there's been violence in society long before video games hit the market. I read an article where a woman said "the video game industry targets children for their advertising" well DUH, they aren't going to target the 90 year olds, video games started out with children and teenagers and as their market base grew up they wanted to keep them and expand to a new generation, it's simple economics if you think about it. Censoring games won't help, courts in the US have ruled that video games fall under Freedom of Speech, if we censor video games what's next? movies, books, music or art? because no matter there will always be atleast one person who says a game is too violent or a book is too controvesial, or a paintiing is too graphic. and to quote Dennis Miller......That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
