I don't like multi-player so you don't want me to recommend anything, cause i'll end up getting you a crappy game probably(though i doubt it). Anway, FFX-2 is a direct sequel of Final Fantasy X whereas most Final Fantasy titles have nothing to do with the preceding, X-2 takes place about 2 years after the final events in FFX. Alot of stuff has changed in the game, and if you're expecting gameplay like FFX......or even any of the past FFs then you will be sorely disappointed because the way you play this game will be entirely different......heck the game isn't even fully linear. Oh, and for Uematsu fans......he doesn't do the music, expect a soundtrack full of J-Pop......unless they end up changing that before it gets released in the states. FFXI will be released in the states in early 2004 for the Playstation 2 but is currently scheduled to release on the PC before the end of the year. Sony Computer Entertainment of America will be publishing it over here and it's a fully online MMORPG(Massivly Multiplayer Online). There is no single player about this game. There will be a huge story to unfold in the game and everything else you've come to expect out of a FF title, only this one's online. FFXII is planned for early 2005 in Japan as work has been ongoing on this title since before FFXI got off the ground. Uematsu fans will be happy to know that he will be doing the soundtrack for FFXII and this will be a normal offline RPG. Expect alot of this game considering it may be one of the last generations of AAA titles for the PS2 if the PS3 does indeed get released later in 2005. That's my small tutorial on the next 3 FF titles to be released over the next 2 years. Oh, and no pricing plan has been announced by Square Enix or Sony though i'm sure it'll be $8, same as Everquest(or maybe that was something else......)........anyway, i'm not sure. Well, i hope that you all enjoy posting and have fun gaming.
