The easier way to win in this game is to buy to one of each property, starting from the
purple to the orange.This way the computer can't build houses.

Select more than the needed human players.
With this you can combine their money or you combine propreties.
If one needs money the other can give it to him.
BE WARNED As long as there are more players there are more bills.

For this trick you do not need a multitap adaptor.  Set up the game with
4 players.  Yourself, 2 fake human players, and one AI player.  Start
the game. (Note: You can use 1 controller port for all four players, or
2 controllers with 2 players on each port.)  Take your turn and buy or 
hold an auction on any property you land on unless you end up having
to pay money.  Since you control players 2 and 3, have player 2 give
all of his money to you.  Go to propose a trade, trade with player 1.
Select nothing for what you want, and $1500 for what you want to give.
Submit the deal.  Role player 2's dice.  If he lands on property, declare
him bankrupt and force him out of the game.  Do the same money deal 
for player 3.
Now all it is is you and the AI player, except you are $3000 richer than
when you started.
