Short Cut:Grand Rapids
In the last tunnel on the right hand side there is a tree if u time a
power slide correctly (press R1 to power slide) you can drive around the
tree, this cuts out the whole second last turn and puts you in the middle
of the final turn.

HIDDEN CHARACTER:

use any character in the game and go to the easy tournament come first in
each race and you will go up against montys dog cosworth to beat him go up
on the terrace beside the first ramp and go through the waterfall beware
cosworth will go through here on the last lap

Game TIPS
-------------------------------

PLAY AS COSWORTH:
Complete the Easy tournament using Monty and coming first
in every race. You then get to race in Cosworth's Challenge,
where you have to beat Cosworth in 3 laps around the
Millenium Park. This is almost impossible, but it can be
done if you cheat a bit! on the first jump after the long right
curve, see that you jump in such a way so as to land out of the
track's left side. You'll be on a ledge, and before you will be
a waterfall. Go beneath the water and you'll get into a tunnel
which is a BIG shortcut! If you manage to do this for all 3
laps you have beaten Cosworth and you can now select him in the
main menu!

I'm not sure if you have to use Monty for this, but this is the
way I did it, so...

PLAY AS TETSUO:
Finish in first place in all races in the medium tournament.
Then, defeat Tetsuo at City One.

PLAY AS BEAMER:
Finish in first place in all races in the hard tournament.

SHORT CUT No.1:
On millenium park in easy mode, you will go over a jump which will
lead you underneath a bridge.  If instead of just going straight under
the bridge you use the ramp to jump to the left and land on the side
you will be surrounded by question marks.  Keep left until you see a
waterfall.  If you drive through this you will take a short cut. 

This is especially useful when trying to beat cosworthy.

MORE SHORT CUTS:
on level 1 track 1 the short cut is go over the bridge on your left before
the last corner of the lap.

on level 1 track 2 the short cut is near the start of the lap when u go
left for the first time and drive off a drop insteed of going right go
left

on level 1 track 3 their is 2 short cuts...
(1)when you make your first right
instead of going off the jump normally go right and there is a box on a
platform or even better go left off the jump and there is a short cut
through
a waterfall
(2)on the last corner of the lap make a sharp right and u will be in the
pits
and there is 3 boxes and some speed up

on level 1 track 4 when u go around the round about go left it p.s it
opens on the 4th lap.

If you get hit and you've stopped and
you want a speed boost, hold down x and
left or right and spin round at least 3
times and let go and you'll get full
speed boost.

FULL TURBO
When racing hold square,x,left to do at least
two 360 turns then release square to get a
full turbo bar recharge.

Race as Cosworth:
Finish in first place in all races in the easy tournament. Then, defeat
Cosworth at Millennium Park.
Race as Tetsuo:
Finish in first place in all races in the medium tournament. Then, defeat
Tetsuo at City One.
Race as Beamer:
Finish in first place in all races in the hard tournament.
Easy turbo:
Hold the brakes and accelerate at the same time. The kart should just stay
in the same location. When you release the brakes the turbo will
automatically activate.

Do you want to win the race?:

In easy mode. in 3rd course(there is a tivoli park).
1)  Drive normalt until you can see the first jump.
2)  Drive to right and when you begin to drive up at the jump Qvikly turn
to left. 3)  Now you are on the left "edge". There is a waterfall. Drive
into it. 4)  Now you are in a secret way. You oppents are a half lap back
you!!!

SHORT CUT FOR SILVER CITY:

Silver city:

after the long tunnel go left into some brown bush. this short cut will
cut off that sharp corner.

SOME USEFUL SHORTCUTS:

level 1, race 1=go up the side of the ship just before the last corner.
level 1, race 2=on the final lap, go left at the roundabout after the 1st
corner. level 1, race 3=on the first bump in the road, go lefton the ledge
in the waterfall. level 1, race 4=on the last 2 laps, go left at the small
arch.

Winning Hidden Characters:

When racing Tetsuo, at certain point on track, there is a part where
the wall is replaced by a hedge, if you drive into this hedge there is
a hidden route.

When racing Beemer, there isnt really a shortcut, but the best
character to use is Cosworth, its best to get a perfect or excellent
start. Before the final corner there is a gap behind the tree.
