At the main title screen highlight the battle mode option & press square, 
square,right,X &L1. If you did it correctly the words "Original or EX Edition
will appear on the screen.Select Oroginal & go to vs mode, have player1 
select both characters then player2 has to select the same 2 characters
in the opposite order.
Eg. player1 Ken & Wolverine.
Then  player2  Wolverine & Ken.
Now you can change characters just like the arcade game.

The tag team cheat you have is incorrect or
does not work for me.  But the cheat that 
work for the tag team cheat is triangle,
triangle, left, circle, L1; but you have to 
do it really fast.  I promise it will work
I put my reputation on it.  But it still 
must be used only on versus mode and P2 must
pick the same characters of P1 but in the 
opposite order.

To play Apocalypse beat the game on level 5 or above without continuing.
Go to vs mode & highlight Akuma press & hold select for a few seconds 
then press any button.
Some of Apocalypse's are:
F+3P
DB+P
B+3P
D,F+FP
F,FD,D+P
D,F+K

At the title screen press triangle,triangle,right,circle,L1.
If you've done the code correctly you should see an EX OPTION 
screen pop up where you can play the original arcade style mode 
but only in VS. MODE,though you must select the same characters 
in vice-versa order.
[example: If Player 1 chooses RYU AND THEN KEN, Player 2 must 
then choose KEN AND THEN RYU]

To do Akuma's Raging Demon you have to push Qp,Qp,forward,Qk,Fp. 
If you don't know how to choose Akuma you have to go to one of the 
top row people(ex. Juggernaut, Dhalsim) and push up then Akuma 
will appear! The Raging Demon is very deadly!

EXOpitions. When you are at the title screen press 
(Triangle,Triangle,Right,Circle L1) if you do it right 
you will see an opition that says Ex opition.To have 
tag team all you have to do is put The Ex opition in Orginal.
