Really what it does is that it either loosens or tightems the torque on your tires. Hence limited "slip" differential. *Its good for tight turns where you could give tight torque in the rear and loose in the front, or vice a versa. *Really though, just slow down on the turns and just pump it after that. *I never used the LCD, but try it out and see what it does.
