I've already mentioned this on the PS3 console page because I clicked on a link that took me straight to that page as opposed to going through the forums.
Anyway, as I have already said, it is a real shame about losing the Dual Shock capabilities of the controller, but if it was interferring with the Motion Sensors then I guess it makes sense. I hope they make a Wireless DualShock3 pad that can be used instead of, or even in accompaniment with, the new Motion Sensor pad though e.g. for games that could incorporate both technologies and then you, the user, would decide how you wanted to play the game, be it with the 'new' Motion Sensors or the 'old' Dual Shock.
Also, games companies could somehow incorporate both technologies into co-operative type games where one player uses the Motion Sensor and another player uses the Dual Shock to like detect how close mines are or something (in terms of a SOCOM kind of game). Maybe not the best of ways to incorporate both technologies, but I'm sure some games company bigwig would be able to figure out how to use both technologies.
