Oooo this sounds a bit like the B.S. that the U.K. Goverment tired out in the mid 80's of a licenced VHS tapes. They said that Sony/Scotch were developing a VHS PAL Video Tape that will record fron a TV program & you could only watch it a maxium of 10 times & then it was no good (as in would erase it self) In fact the out come of that venture was the invention of MACROVision (copy protected material, where copied the copied master would be all distorted)

True I've taken Jane along Game shops to search for Gems in the 2nd hand bins and I did finally get ICO, but not 2nd hand, but new, sealed, not a re-release, A gem hidding away with all cards intact & no bleaching from shop display and for only £14!!

Even Jane's dad goes through the bins with me. There are games out there that at the time of new I've not been able to purchase, as in not got the cash to buy or there's 6 titles I want in one week!

It took me a lot of guts to sell my collection of original MINT!!!! PSX games to GameStation, I got a bloody good deal on one of them (Disruptor, sold for £50 and it's 7 years old) the guy was the manager's son & he was nearly cry that I was selling them. He asked if he could have special pricing on them for me (so he could blag them for his self at the cost of his week's wage!) Every time I go back in there eyes light up thinking I've got more Gems to sell.

I say NO SONY!!!!! there are children out there from single parent families or there own parents have set them there own limits on buying games and splashing out £50 for UT2007 brand new is madness unless your in a well paid full time job (like me & jane and we still can't afford half the stuff we really want) The 2nd hand market or even BUDGET games is a big seller in any Game shop/hyper market.

So do you think that Sony will Allow Budget games for there PS3 in the first year? Still waiting for a platinum collection on the PSP you B@st@rd$!!!!!!!!!!
