Well I received my pre-order email from Game this morning saying you're finally able to pre-order the PS3 on their site.
However, if you look on their site, they too only have bundles available for sale.
They currently have two different bundles.
The first costs £554.96 and has the following:
- Sony PlayStation 3 Console {60GB}
- Resistance: Fall of Man
- Call of Duty 3
- Motorstorm
The second costs £564.96 and has the following:
- Sony PlayStation 3 Console {60GB}
- Resistance: Fall of Man
- Virtua Fighter 5
- Virtua Tennis 3
So, are we only going to be able to buy bundles or is what Jim said about some stores allowing you to just pre-order the PS3 by itself going to be more widespread than bundles?
We'll have to see.
Jay
p.s. On a personal note, I tried to calculate how much my bundle would cost me if I bought it all seperately and I AM actually making a saving (like most bundles do). Seperately, for a PS3, Game, Cable, Extra Controller, and Blu-Ray Remote it would breakdown as follows:
- PS3 £425
- Extra Controller about £35
- Cable about £13
- Blu-Ray Remote about £18
- Game about £50
- Total about £530
Whereas my bundle will cost about £515. So that £15 can go towards like a new game or something
