True, you do feel more into the game when playing with rumble, but I have not missed the feature that much. The reason I haven't missed it is because it became standard in every single game that came out. They never tried to be innovative with the rumbling technology, and it showed in every game because the controller simply shook in your hands whenever it felt like it.
Now, picture this with me. Dolby Surround sound makes you feel like you are "IN" a movie, because it surrounds you and directs sounds to the correct locations around your room. Tell me why a controller couldn't do this? I think the entire controller should have "Rumble Surround" and not just where the rumblers are located now (In the handles of the controller). There should be about 5-6 rumblers in different locations on the controller so that you can feel a more accurate depiction of what you are seeing on your TV screen.
There are ways to innovate the rumble that have not been tried, and I've noticed that it has never changed. It started back with the little plug-in rumbler in the n64 controller, and it has not changed since then. Do you get where I am coming from? lol, somebody let me design a controller, I know what I'm doing!
