Under the Settings menu is a section called System Settings. Inhere is a selection for "Install other OS". You would go there to start the process of installing Linux.
It is probably best to use the official PS3 Linux Distro, Yellow Dog. Details for it can be found at the Yellow Dog home page, Terra Soft -- Linux for PS3, IBM Power, Mercury Cell, and Apple PowerPC. . |
