 CONTEST - Design The Absolute PlayStation Folding Team Logo
Ever since it was introduced to the PlayStation 3 Absolute PlayStation has had a team formed for the Folding@Home project run by Stanford University. This endeavor strives to find breakthroughs toward cures for several life threatening diseases. Details on how to join the team can be found in the pinned thread in PlayStation Discussion.
With the formation of the team it was thought to do a contest to raise awareness about the team, get more members tojoin up and also make for some community-wide involvement. We are asking you, the members, to design the logo which will be used on the team's stats page over on Stanford University's site.
There are only a couple of requirements:
- the team number must be included (54263)
- the site url must be included (www.absolute-playstation.com)
- maximum size for the logo is 400 pixels wide by 400 pixels high
- image must be either in .jpg or.gif format
Once you have your logo made to your satisfaction just e-mail it to me at lyndon@absolute.ws with the subject "Logo Contest". The deadline for entries is June 30- this gives you a bit over a month to get it in. Limit of one entry per person, please. Also, be sure to include your forum username.
Once all entries are in a poll will be set up for you, the members, to vote on which logo is best. Voting will run for approximately 2 weeks to allow ample time for members to voice their opinion.
Once a winner is announced that person's logo will replace the one being used currently on the stats page PLUS the winner will get a prize sent to them. What sort of prize? Could be a game, maybe a gift certificate... we're going to leave that as a surprise for now.
