Re: FF12 OH on YOUR characters. Oh well that's easy to deal with, at lest it should be. Why didn't you say that, I thought you meant the dog had Reflect on it.
Well dispell should work. However, you have to change the target as dispell automatically targets your enemy as it's an offensive spell, even though it may not seem offensive. You just need to select the spell, but before confiming the cast, you need to press down i think it is so you can change targets. I forget how you change targets, but you need to change the target from the enemy to the team member/s who has/have the Reflect status. I must admit, I thought it wore off after time as well, but I guess not.
Like I've said before, it's been a while since I played this game.
By casting Dispell on your party the Reflect (as well as any positive status effects like Brave, Faith, Regen, Protect etc) will be removed.
If you have it, you could always set up a Gambit as the following Ally:Reflect > Dispell (I think that would be what you would have to set up) and Dispell will be cast on any ally as soon as reflect is successfully cast on them.
I think that is correct. Of course, if you don't have that Gambit yet (I forget when and where it becomes available) then you could just set up a basic Gambit as follows:
Ally: Any > Dispell
Unfortunately that will dispell ANY status effect as soon as any status effect (regardless of whether they are positive or negative) is cast on any ally. You could always turn it off of course and back on when you need it, as opposed to leaving it on all the time.
I really hope that is now the correct answer you needed.
If it is, then we finally got there in the end lol. If that does NOT work, then I'm really stumped and it could be some weird bug that I, personally, have NEVER heard about.
Whether it works or not, be sure to leave a reply so we know how you got on, and so we can try to help if that doesn't work, ok? Jay |
