Something integral to the game playing may have been jarred loose/ broken when it took the fall. Unfortunately I do not think this will be repairable. Your best bet would likely be to get a new system or even grab a PS2 on the cheap. Theyll play the PSOne games as well as expand your gaming choices with the PS2's extensive library of games.
