Usually this is a matter of dirt on the lens or the disc itself. Your first try should be a CD/ DVD lens cleaning kit- you should be able to find these at most stores selling DVD players. If no change there have alook at the bottom of the discs- if they are dirty a wipe with a soft cloth (going from the center to the edge) may help.
