To be honest, i do not think what you want to do would work- the game would have to be made to support LAN play and, to my knowledge, there are no PS3 games set up for that. If the systems are close enough to each other you could give it a shot with a wired connection, using a length of ethernet cable connecting the two systems via their ethernet jack.
