I'm a new member--sorry if you've answered this before. I've had a Slimline PS2 for a couple years now. Just last week, it stopped reading games on DVDs. The games on CDs will play just fine. I've vacuumed out the console, turned the console vertically, and cleaned the lens with alcohol without any success. I've read that with the older, fatter console it was possible to regulate the voltage going to the laser for CD games and DVD games, but I haven't found any information for that for the Slimline. Is it possible to make any adjustments on a Slimline that would let it read DVD games? I've already taken the console apart, so I'm willing to try anything.
