Default Re: Burnout: Paradise Comments

It took me a bit but I'm back to expand upon my earlier post. I've put in a little over 145 hours of offline play and have still only completed 78% of the game, there is just an incredible amount of things to accomplish in Paradise.

A personal word of advise for newcomers is to focus on the Burning Routes, that is where you unlock special versions of cars and it also counts as won events which unlocks other cars. When new cars enter to be taken down, I suggest heading all the way West where there are lots of long stretches of road with few turnoffs for the other car to ditch you.

Another hint is for Stunt Events ( my 2 1/2 year old son stumbled on this for me) when going in reverse all points for stunts are doubled.

Last little bit of info that I found helped immensely is whenever an event starts I hit Select as soon as the light turns green. This pauses the game and gives you more than a few seconds to plan your route. Following the others isn't always the way to victory. You can also hit Select anytime during the event to pause and reasess where you're at and where you need to go.

Those are tidbits for offline play, as for online, I still haven't really spun my wheels that much yet due to timing issues. Also don't know that many people who Burnout online yet. I will be getting to it now though.
