Correct me if i'm wrong anybody but one way is to just join a game and if you are the first or only one in there, you are the host. They still havnt quite got the "host migration" concept down yet so that when the host quits, it gets passed to the next. I have yet to set up an actual private game but I have been the first one in the room plenty of times.
