After doing a bit of research on Acclaim and the game you mentioned, there doesn't seem to be a widespread problem with this occurring (or at least not they're admitting to).

Try madhtrs suggestion(s) above, and if that fails, try posting a question to other API members asking if they too have had the same difficulties as you have.

If they have, then the problem can easily be attributed to the software. If this problem is unique to you and your console, you will also know where to look to correct this problem.
