A MEMBERS GUIDE TO PLAYSTATION NETWORK (v1.03)


THE RULES ARE VERY SIMPLE
Great news, if you have just joined the PlayStation Network there are practically NO RULES for you to follow. Just stick to these and you will be fine:

1. No Swearing - This place is for people of all ages, so if you must swear please keep it out of the title of your message and hide the word using stars. For example: s**t
2. No posting adult content or images, or anything illegal.
3. No advertising.

ANTI-PIRACY POLICY
APi supports game developers and in no way will help those seeking advice when it comes to mod chips and pirated games. All such topics will either be locked and/or deleted. Further explanation of our policy can be viewed at this link.

HELP... I AM A NEW MEMBER !
When you first join the PlayStation Network you will be given the title of 'LURKER'. A Lurker is someone who prefers to watch everyone else rather than join in the fun.

To stop being a lurker all you have to do is post one message. Pop into the General Discussions area and say hi, or tell us your favorite Joke in the Jokes, Trivia and Entertainment section. We are really friendly and would love to get to know you a little more.

As soon as you do this, you will be promoted to a MEMBER and people will start sending you replies to your message and welcome you to the PlayStation Network.

All members have the following additional privileges:

• Have the ability to create your own PlayStation Gamer Blog about yourself and your interests, we will promote this for you and people from all over the world will read it.
• Full access to every feature of the PlayStation Network area
• Opportunities to help out with the main Absolute PlayStation website and Network Community areas
• Opportunity to write articles for the Members Newsletter

WHO DO I ASK FOR HELP ?
If you have any problems at all working out how everything works, then we have a special team ready to help you out. They are called the BUDDY SQUAD.

Just go to the Customer Service Area and ask your questions.

Don't be embarrassed about asking simple questions, we were all new once and understand that people are not born knowing everything. All we ask is that you are polite when asking any question.


DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEMBER
Here is a quick summary of the different types of members you will see in here:

• GUEST: You start off as a guest and need to register free to become a member
• LURKER: When you register we send you an email. Follow the instructions in the email and you can join the community area free of charge. When you have joined you become a Lurker - this means you are someone who can post messages in the community, but prefers not to.
• MEMBER: Once you have posted 1 message in the community, you will be promoted to a full member.
• BUDDY SQUAD: This is our customer service team who are here to help you with any problems and answer any questions about using the PlayStation Network area. They also police the community areas to make sure that people follow our very simple rules.
• SITE SQUAD: This team add content to the website
• GOD SQUAD: This team run the website
