Default memory card(8MB)
I bought a new memory card for my playstation2 but, it does not seem to acknowledge that the card is in slot#1. What's wrong with it?

Is this a Sony card or one made by someone else? Some of the third party cards can be flaky as they are not licensed and as such don't necessarily go up to Sony's standards on the manufacture.

If it is a Sony card and you are sure it is in all the way I would suggest trying it on another PS2. If it doesn't show there you will know it is a defective card.

It is a Sony memory card. Could there be something wrong with PS2? Is there a way to check out PS2?
