Default playstation network error
sorry if i dont get the right terminology correct here, but...my ps3 will log onto the internet, but will not let me connect to the PLAYSTATION Network. I keep getting the message: "An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PLAYSTATION Network. (8002AA08)." Does anyone know what this means and how i can connect so that i can check out the online play capability of the ps3. please help...ANYONE!!

The PlayStation Network has been having a hiccup or two- I've seen others having this same problem (especially when the Gran Turismo HD demo went up- lots of people went for it at once).

Have you updated the firmware to the latest version in System Update, found in the settings menu? If not doing this may help. If you have then the problem is ontheir end and all you can do is try again later.
