Default language problems
my dad just bought me fifa2008, but it is in French. can the language be changed? i'm using a ps2slim line console from the uk

The PAL version should have given you a language choice when you first started it. If you can't find a language option in there you may have to remove the game save you have currently (it would hold your choice for language as well) and then restart the disc- it should act like it is the first time running and give you a choice.

Out of curiosity, where was the game bought? It's possible if the game was originally made for France it may not have the option.

the game was bought at a big store called FNAC in Lyon, thank you, we will try it again.
