i am at the stage of two towers where you are inside the castle courtyard , and you have to stop the orcs, goblins , etc. from breaking the door down. at one point you have to run up to the tower wall to save one of your party, then back down to defend the wall. i can never stop the wall from being destroyed, there are two many bad dudes to kill. how do i get past this part? help me. thanks

I’m afraid there’s no easy way around this part of the game (without resorting to cheats, which defeats the object of playing it). You just have to keep wading into the countless hordes.

One piece of advice is to listen carefully to the battle. After you have run up the tower wall and helped whichever character, get back down to the main gate as quickly as possible (don’t bother fighting as you go – just run). When you have been fighting for a short time you will hear somebody shout “Archers on the wall!”.

At this point you need to run back up the tower and used your bow / axe to take care of a load of archers who are firing flame arrows and stuff actually at the main gates (over your head).

If you don’t take care of these archers, then the main gate is destroyed a lot quicker. The first couple of times I tried this level I ignored them and the gates always fell fairly soon after.

Once again, as soon as you have taken care of the archers run back down to defend the gate again. Keep holding the gate until a cut scene kicks in – I won’t spoil it for you, but needless to say there’s another ‘surprise’ in store for you

It took me a few attempts to crack this level, but it can be done – just make sure that when you run up the tower you only take on the 3 beasties attacking the other character at the far left and ignore everybody else. The same with the archers – only deal with the archers and don’t waste time scrapping with others. All the time you spend away from the gate, the more damage it takes, so you need to minimise time away from it.

Keep at it – you’ll get there eventually!!!!!!
