I recently bought a used playstation2 online and when I went in to play a dvd a parental control format came up. Is there anyway to release a programmed parental contol code without knowing what it is? Please help. :cry:

The code 7444 will delete the old code and allow you to put in a new parental code.

Enjoy your 'new' Playstation 2.

If Rex's method don't work check your default DVD parental code in the manual of the PS2 and then change it.I also had the same problem so make sure you turn off the parental code option because the same problem will arise later
