You would have to go to a computer gaming site to check on that one, lolox. We tend to stick mainly to the consoles.

No, i doubt there would be anything that you would need to download with the game- except for maybe an update when you first go online (if the game does have online).

Not really, wilnil- never been to Perth and have no idea of the shops you would have available. Check around the local stores or do a check online- do doubt there would be a few copies available on the cheap online as well in places like eBay.

Recently I have installed GTA San Andraes on my pcbut it doesn't runwhen i start the game HD Expressiona some thing like that vappears than a logo of nvidia appears than "Rockstar Games Presents" appear than a picture is shows of gta sa and after 3 seconds tha game is like automatically closed and it show my desktop>Can u tell me wat is the problem in my game I have asked my friends also about this problem and they said that i need to install DirectX in my pc but i don't know which versio>Can u tell me the version of DirectX and alos give me the link from where I can download it free and if u wanted to know my computer settings are

System:
Microsoft Windows Xp Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Computer:
Intel(R)
Celeron(R) CPU 1.70GHz
1.70Ghz,480Mb of Ram

We normally just lend help with the console versions of the game (specifically the PlayStation line of consoles) but anyhoo...

It should say on the box the earliest version Windows needs (I'm guessing version 9). Having at least that or higher will do the trick. If your Direct X needs an upgrade you can get the latest directly from Microsoft's site or Windows Update.

To be honest, I think your main problem is the lack of RAM in the PC- the majority of that 480 MB would be taken up just to run Windows itself.

Push up on the d-pad to recruit gang members- when you are done with them push down to get them to "passive" mode.

You have to buy the safe houses using the money you get from different missions. The ones you can get now show as green on the map- red ones won't be available until later on.

Yes it was- not due to a glitch but due to some extra "adult" content that Rockstar had said was removed from the game but turned out to still be there buried in code. The only way you may find the "hot coffee" edition of the game would be eBay at this point (and just for the record you aren't missing much).
