How do I open the locked golf tourneyments?

Thank you for your response. When I try to participate in the Jan 07 tourneyments I recieve a message that says I must qualify by winning a tourneyment in 2006. Unfortunately, the game will not let me go back to the 2006 calendar. Is there a way to get back into the 2006 calendar or do I have to wait until we are actually in January to play the Jan 07 tourneyments? Thanks again.

Waiting until a particular date actually arrives will not work either. I have a PS2 and an XBOX. I bought Tiger Woods 07 for the XBOX and I ran into this same problem. It is now January 9, 2007 and all the PGA Tour events leading up to today are still locked like they have been since I bought the game. I checked my system date and it is fine. I see how they want to make it as close to the real thing as possible, but what if this is the first time someone actually got into the idea of playing Tiger Woods? Not very fun so far.
